Just listened to an user interview from India's heartland. Scored 99.7+ in CAT quant 3 yrs in a row. VA at 60-70%. Taught at a coaching centre to survive. Just the hustle and the dreams and the passion - my mind is blown.

All three of these things are true. 1. IIMs are great places to be. 2. Most MBA programs are not great at ROI if you are competent already. 3. If you are incompetent and do not want to put in efforts, the best of MBA programs will not do much for you. Free riders, take note.

A forgotten fact about Stoa is - it started as an emotional wellbeing program for teenagers. Designed some of my most memorable sessions for kids. And the kids were full of wonder and joy. Wish we could be less cynical as adults.
