A very sweet encounter today after Mass! I complimented a woman on her earrings & we talked. She told me she’s half Persian half Pakistani & Muslim but came to Church with her friend. I gave her a Miraculous Medal, explained what it was, & she kissed it. Please pray for Zahra🥰❤️

Just came home from Adoration & Mass with my mother! You can imagine my shock/tearful joy when I turned around to see her prostrated in front of the crucifix! I think she liked praying silently in front of the Marian shrine. & on what a day! The solemnity of Mary, Mother of God!

My mother attached a Miraculous Medal to her work badge & when her colleagues questioned her, she told them she is holding Mary. They asked “aren’t you Muslim?” She replied “I’m Catholic ever since my daughter converted”. After brutal persecution from her, this is happening!

I’m thankful to God for the kindness, empathy & patience of my doctor who helps me to not despair. We’re going to start aggressive treatment & targeting remission and, whilst I’m scared, I know it’s the only path I can take. Holding onto His wounded hand throughout this.

So I think I’m reaching a point where I can no longer walk much on my own which is terrifying to me, for fear that I will pass out and fall, or the pain gets too much and my body can no longer move. But I shan’t despair. Instead I’m looking at bird themed walking sticks
