My dad is very respected amongst the Muslim community in Taiwan. He’s the chairman of the Taipei Grand Mosque. He’s praying outside the mosque in the cold with most people. Friday prayer Jumu’ah is packed because of the lunar new year holidays, so most have to pray outside.

Not all KMT members are CCP agents. Not all DPP are Taiwan lovers. I’ve talked to hundreds of people. Many young voters are afraid of expressing their pro-KMT (or some say anti-Taiwan) views because of backlash online and friends. Taiwan is a democracy, you vote whoever you like.

Reporting the Taiwan Railway Union strike. At the heart of this protest is the corporatization of the Taiwan Railways Administration. The Gov’t believes it will help make trains safer. The Union says they were not consulted on the plan and fear their benefits would be affected.

I also want to add my thanks to my doctor for working with me to find the right combination of medicine and antidepressants. It took a while but we got there! I highly recommend it if you’re in the same mental place as I was.
