San Diego State’s greatest basketball season had it all — 32 wins, 3 banners, an ultimate team effort, a trip to the Final Four, a spot in the national final & boosted respect across America. Add to that amazing fan & media support & these Aztecs made all of us PROUD. Thank You!
Often when a team gets hot, coaches & players become more superstitious. For the Aztecs, freshman Miles Byrd may be one of the team’s good luck charms. Byrd doesn’t play yet but he’s always on camera, cheering on the team. He’s also a terrific young player with a bright future.
San Diego State has been a nightmare so far for Charleston, Furman & Alabama plus CBS analysts Seth Davis & Clark Kellogg. The Aztecs have beaten those teams in the NCAA Tournament while Seth & Clark have always picked vs. SDSU. Maybe it’s time they gave the Aztecs some respect.
San Diego State’s elite run in the Big Dance has brought huge exposure to the Aztecs program & new-found respect. But it’s also shined the light on Steve Fisher & what he & Brian Dutcher have done at SDSU. Hopefully Coach Fisher will finally get inducted into the Basketball HofF.
San Diego State basketball. A family. Brian Dutcher. Dave Velasquez. Chris Acker. A winning culture. Players get better & believe they can win on the biggest stages. They expect to win every time they play. One of the most respected D-1 staffs & programs in the country. Respect.
The Aztecs know that all the national analysts will pick UConn to win the national title Monday. But this SDSU team is special & proved many of those same analysts wrong throughout the Big Dance. On Monday, don’t count the Aztecs out. They believe in themselves & that matters.
When Lamont Butler was a freshman, Aztec fans saw his enormous potential. Now, as a junior, the world is seeing the talented Butler as one of the top 2-way guards in the country. Sunday, he hit 8/11 FGs, 2/2 3’s & had 18 points to help SDSU beat Creighton & earn a Final 4 berth.
Last year, San Diego St. shocked college basketball with a run to the national final. This year, with one of the nation’s best backcourts in Butler & Trammell, a potential MWC player of the year in LeDee, an elite shooter in Parrish & a talented team, the Aztecs are loaded again.
The newest Aztec is Reese Dixon-Waters, a 6-5 shooting guard & transfer from USC. He has two years of eligibility left. He attended Saturday’s Aztec basketball team celebration at Snapdragon Stadium. It drew a big crowd & Dixon-Waters got to see firsthand the huge Aztec support.
No matter what happens in tonight’s national final, you have to admire the incredible individual stories of the San Diego State players, coaches & families — a group that came together to produce the greatest season in Aztec history. A standing O for Coach Dutcher & his Aztecs.
Twenty five years from now, CBS will still be showing Lamont Butler’s buzzer-beating, game-winning jumper to give the Aztecs a dramatic 72-71 win over FAU to reach the national title game. A legendary shot that many college hoop fans will never forget. One Shining Moment Forever.
Hopefully one day the San Diego State men’s basketball team will win a national title. The Aztecs are a legit Top 25 team annually. But if they don’t win a natty, what SDSU did this year is legendary: National runner-up, MWC champ, regional champ, 32 wins & huge overall respect.
UConn is the heavy favorite. The Huskies have 3 NBA level players & are picked to win by all the prime-time analysts. But SDSU has beat all odds to get to the Finals. The Aztecs have a team that believes it can win & never quits. Destiny? Gotta believe. Final: SDSU 68, UConn 67.
The Aztecs currently own the nation’s longest home court winning streak at 19 games. According to SDSU head coach Brian Dutcher, one of the biggest reasons for that feat is: “We have the best home court on the West Coast. Our fans make a big difference in us winning games.”
It’s obvious that Aztec standout Lamont Butler has an incredible family, one that constantly supports him on & off the basketball court. But anytime Lamont gets a chance to tell someone that he loves his family, he does. A special bond for a special family. Respect.
#ButlerBuzz
Sophomore Miles Byrd is like a jolt of lightning when he enters a game with a surge of excitement amongst Aztec fans. At 6-7 & growing, he has PG skills, can score from 3 levels, rebound, block shots & defend PLUS he enjoys playing the game with a smile & passion. Bright future.
Major props to Aztec junior Lamont Butler on being named to the NCAA tournament’s all-tourney squad. This was definitely a breakout year for the SDSU point guard, who also earned MWC Defensive Player of the Year. Lamont should have a huge senior year & pique some NBA interest.
I guess this is the place, Snapdragon Stadium, with thousands of Aztec fans ready to celebrate an incredible basketball season. Congrats, Coach Dutcher, staff & the amazing Aztec players on their run to the national championship game. 32 wins & 3 banners.

Some days you want to feel a positive vibe or like a million dollars. Today, my “Lamont Butler At The Buzzer” t-shirt was delivered. I’m feeling pretty cool today, like I could hit a game-winner in the Big Dance just like that talented Aztec guard did. Go, Aztecs!
While some national basketball analysts are trapped in a Power 5 coaching cocoon, San Diego State’s Brian Dutcher has crushed it in his 7 years as the Aztecs head coach — currently 161-49 with 6 MWC titles, 4 NCAA tourney trips & a national runner-up finish. He’s an elite coach.
Hello, America! San Diego State is the real deal. Darrion Trammell scored 21 points & the gutsy Aztecs rallied in the second half to shock No. 1 seed Alabama 71-64 on Friday to clinch a berth in the Elite Eight. The Aztecs (30-6) ended the Crimson Tide (31-6) run in the tourney.
San Diego State may have found the perfect fit by adding former USC guard Reese Dixon Waters, an athletic, 6-foot-5 shooter/defensive standout who has 2 years left to play. He was the PAC-12 Sixth Man of the Year this past season while averaging 9.6 points & 3.3 rebounds pg.
At 6-foot-7, San Diego State’s Miles Byrd has outstanding point guard skills & body control. Byrd showcased one of his Matrix moves vs. No. 13 Gonzaga with this sweet Euro-step reverse layup as the Aztecs beat the Bulldogs 84-74. Miles had 9 points & 4 rebounds in a big effort.
Butler Impact: If Aztec senior point guard Lamont Butler scores 8 points vs. Yale on Sunday in the NCAA tournament second round, he will reach the career 1,000 point mark AND if SDSU wins, it will be Lamont’s 100th career win in the highly respected program. Amazing run for LBJ.
Dear Matt Bradley — Appreciate all you did for the Aztecs this year, on & off the court. You had a great season & got better. Like all players, you made & missed shots. MJ missed 26 game-winners in his NBA career. Aztec fans look forward to watching you play next year. Thanks!
In 5 years as the San Diego State men’s basketball coach, Brian Dutcher has a record of 119-40, won 2 MWC regular season titles & 2 MWC tourney titles. His Aztecs have played in 3 NCAA tourneys, losing in the first round each time. Many D1 schools wish their teams were that good.
Michael Jordan — the guy that many people believe is the GOAT — sets the record straight, showing respect to all great players & their eras. And while some elite players want to talk about their own greatness, MJ lets his on-court success define his unmatched career. Respect.
Malachi Flynn sat out a year and put in the work to get stronger and sharpen his skills. That intense focus paid off this year when he led San Diego State to a 30-2 record. Today, Sports Illustrated named him to its All-American 1st team. Great job, Malachi.
#Aztecs
Respect is earned. So, you’d think that San Diego State would get more respect when it comes to the national rankings. Not because the Aztecs played in the NCAA final last year. But because SDSU has a 462-160 record (74.3% winning percentage) since 2005 — 4th best in the nation.
San Diego St. may not boast the huge NIL deals that many top players might seek. But the Aztecs do offer a legit shot to play vs. Top 25 teams, for MWC titles & a potential deep run in the Big Dance, plus has a strong player development program. AND it’s warm & scenic San Diego!
CBS college basketball analyst Clark Kellogg said at halftime of tonight’s San Diego State/Yale NCAA Tournament game, with the Aztecs on top 45-21: “San Diego State came out and had something to prove tonight — that our culture says we’re champions in how we perform.”
Whether you’re a college football fan or not, it’s pretty incredible what new San Diego State head coach Sean Lewis has accomplished in the past few weeks — putting together a quality staff, recruiting a ton of talent & igniting a tsunami of excitement in San Diego & beyond.
If Lamont Butler & Jaedon LeDee return to SDSU to join Darrion Trammell, Micah Parrish & the rest of a strong returning nucleus to go with the addition of 2 outstanding transfers, the Aztecs could have a potential Top 10 team in 2023-24. Gotta believe AGAIN anything’s possible.
San Diego State’s run to the NCAA title game last year boosted the Aztecs’ national profile & more & more top 100 talent are willing to give SDSU a legit shot at signing them. After all, the rising Aztecs are about winning, developing players & building lifetime relationships.
Happy for former San Diego State standout Nathan Mensah, who’s currently showing the Charlotte Hornets that he can contribute at the NBA level. “Protecting the rim” is Nathan’s calling card. A good dude with a positive attitude.
#Aztecs
San Diego St. fans should feel confident that Aztecs head coach Brian Dutcher will bring in at least 2 transfers to immediately strengthen this year’s returning nucleus & 3 signed recruits to keep the Aztecs highly competitive in the MWC with the potential to win games in March.
Darrion Trammell hit a free throw with :01 left on the clock to give 5th seeded San Diego State a heart-thumping 57-56 win over 6th seeded Creighton Sunday to clinch a Final Four berth for the never-say-die Aztecs (31-6). It’s SDSU’s first ever Final Four. Incredible win.
Good luck to former San Diego State sharpshooter Jordan Schakel on his deal with the Boston Celtics. He’ll attend training camp & try to earn a spot on the Celtics roster.
#Aztecs
Ex-San Diego State star & current Raptor Malachi Flynn got a rare start Monday night vs. the Nets. With 9:50 left in the 3rd quarter, Toronto led 76-54. Malachi was 5/7 on FGs, 1/2 3’s & had 11 points in 22 minutes. He also had 2 rebounds & 4 assists with a +32 rating.
#Aztecs
A special moment tonight for Toronto Raptors backup point guard Malachi Flynn, who was named the team’s player of the game after Toronto rallied to beat Indiana 132-131. Malachi had 14 points off the bench to help spark the Raptors.
#Aztecs
#MalachiFlynn
Tonight, CBS college basketball analyst Wally Szczerbiak picked San Diego State to win the MWC title again based on the Aztecs’ strong defense. He noted that the Aztecs get better during the season — “they’re not quite there yet” — but their defense always gets it done.
#Aztecs
About 5,000 San Diego State basketball fans showed their appreciation & love for the Aztecs’ record-setting team Saturday night with a celebration event at Snapdragon Stadium. The Aztecs (32-7) won both MWC titles this year & advanced all the way to the NCAA Tournament final.
Major props to
@jonschaeffer
on the great job he does on the Aztec pre-, half & post-game shows. He provides SDSU fans with a ton of info, is fair in wins or losses & fits in well with uncle Teddy’s play-by-play on radio. If you listened to tonight’s win, it was Adrenaline City!
Give San Diego St. a ton of credit for what the Aztecs have done with back-to-back Sweet 16’s & competing vs. some of the nation’s richest bball programs. When UConn plays SDSU on Thursday, it will be the Aztecs, with an annual bball budget of $7.2 mil., vs. UConn’s $24 mil.
Adam Seiko wasn’t feeling well & missed Saturday’s Aztec celebration at Snapdragon Stadium. But to the thousands of fans who watched the sharpshooting senior play during his career, he’s a winner, a multiple league champ & will be remembered for his elite shooting & leadership.
I would like to personally thank Lamont, Sr. & Carmicha Butler, Herb & Sherri LeDee, Phil Scott, Stan Robinson & many other diehard Aztec fans that my wife and I got to meet & share time with while following the Aztecs over the past 2 seasons. Some incredible lifetime memories.
San Diego State needed to get better in the off season. Today, the Aztecs got better with the addition of high-scoring guard Darrion Trammel, who averaged 18.1 ppg & 5.1 apg for Seattle U. A first team All-WAC pick, he announced his decision today. High Fives for Aztec fans!
San Diego State has put on not only a defensive clinic in the second half vs. St. Mary’s tonight, but also a rare offensive clinic that reveals the Aztecs’ potential in scoring the ball. An impressive performance from Coach Brian Dutcher’s squad.
Six-foot-7 senior Pharaoh
Compton, a 4-star forward at Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, has committed to play at national runner-up San Diego State. He made the announcement tonight in Vegas. Big add to the Aztecs.
You don’t need ESPN or a Twitter “head coach” to tell you that San Diego State is a work in progress. You can’t lose so much talent from an NCAA runner-up & expect to immediately be a Top 25 team. This year’s Aztecs have the talent to be very good. But it’s going to take time.
San Diego State’s Magoon Gwath is a special young talent, a 7-footer with guard skills, a big smile & an engaging personality. He scores from all 3 levels & has the potential to become one of the best freshmen to ever wear an Aztec jersey. A future NBA player if he stays healthy.
Awesome add: FAU guard Nick Boyd will be a key contributor this coming year for San Diego State. He’s an outstanding 3-point shooter who should be a great fit as the Aztecs shoot for a third straight trip to the Sweet 16.
#Aztecs
Congrats to Coach Dutcher, his staff & the Aztec players on a very successful season with 26 wins. It’s the first time in Aztec history that the team has gone to 2 straight Sweet 16s. With a lot of talent returning, hopefully the Aztecs can make it 3 in a row plus add MWC titles.
Reese Waters scored 22 points, Jaedon LeDee 20 & Darrion Trammell 17 as San Diego State stunned No. 13 Gonzaga 84-74 on Friday night in Spokane, WA. The Aztecs improved to 11-2 & will open MWC play vs. Fresno State on Wednesday night at Viejas Arena. The Bulldogs fell to 9-4.
Jaedon LeDee is like a 6-foot-9 Rocky Balboa, who during a game takes lots of shots to the body, the back & the head with an occasional poke in the eye BUT continues to do what Jaedon does like an All-American: He grabs rebounds, scores vs. double & triple teams & helps SDSU win.
“San Diego State has an outstanding team and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re back in the Final Four this year.” — CBS Sports college basketball analyst Avery Johnson. Last year, he predicted the Aztecs could go to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8. They played UConn in the NCAA final.
Clark Kellogg & Seth Davis maynot be enjoying San Diego State’s dominant effort vs. Furman today. Both basketball analysts usually pick against the Aztecs. But this year’s Aztecs are special & gaining confidence in the Big Dance. Respect is earned. Both CBS dudes should know it.
Some Aztec fans are getting a little nervous about Coach Brian Dutcher & if he’s going be able to reload his team with enough transfer talent. But based on the players he’s brought in during his six seasons at SDSU, the Aztecs will continue that successful trend.
#Aztecs
Aztec fans know that Lamont Butler is a superb basketball player, who hit the biggest shot in SDSU history, & is currently struggling making shots. But he does so many things that spur winning, he’ll soon get back on track in drilling shots. Lamont: Aztec Nation believes in you.
Can you imagine how much better Lamont Butler would be if he returns to SDSU for his senior year? That’ll be after 2 months of elite training in Vegas while upgrading his overall skill set vs. daily quality competition. A more confident Lamont could have an All-American season.
San Diego State will lose at least 4 talented seniors after this memorable season. But with Lamont Butler, Darrion Trammell, Jaedon LeDee & Micah Parrish returning plus some promising young players as well as 2 or 3 key transfers, the Aztecs could be “really good” next year.
Brian Dutcher says if SDSU has back what he thinks they will, the Aztecs will be better next year. He said he's been busy on the phone recruiting portal players during the Final Four.
Ex-Aztec All-American Jaedon LeDee finally got double-digit minutes & helped the T’wolves beat the Magic 115-100 in NBA summer league play Sunday. Big Jae played 16 minutes & scored 9 points (3/4 FG, 1/1 3 & 2/2 FTs) to go with 3 rebs, 1 steal & a +11 player rating. A good day.
It’s awesome that Jaedon LeDee leads the nation in scoring. A great job by a great player. But his national notoriety also keeps the Aztecs in the national spotlight & if they keep winning, SDSU will be ranked. Early season rankings reveal some voters don’t do their homework.
Some of the nation’s top basketball analysts covered the Gonzaga-Michigan State game on Friday in San Diego, then watched San Diego State beat BYU later that evening. Jay Bilas, Andy Katz & Seth Greenberg were impressed with the Aztecs. That will help SDSU in national exposure.
Creighton may have a busload of shooters & play in a Big Boys’ league, but San Diego State has 3 things that can change the game & lift the Aztecs into the Final 4: Strong D, elite rebounding & 2 to 3 guys who can score in the clutch. Prediction: SDSU 68, Creighton 63.
#Fearless
Aztec stuff to currently keep an eye on: 1. Will Coach Dutcher be able to retain his entire coaching staff? 2. Jaedon LeDee, Lamont Butler & Keshad Johnson looking to assess their pro options moving forward; 3. Signing 2 or 3 transfers to reload the already strong roster.
#Aztecs
Quick thoughts on scrimmage. Final:

UCLA 89,

SDSU 87. Bruins are one of top teams in the nation. Aztecs can compete vs. the nation’s best this year. Bruins can hit 3’s; Aztecs can rebound (had 20 offensive boards today). Darrion Trammell (24), Matt Bradley (18) can score.
CBS Sports shot an air ball in leaving San Diego State’s Lamont Butler off its Top 100-plus-1 player rankings for the upcoming college basketball season. Butler helped lead the Aztecs to the national title game last year & no doubt is a Top 10 two-way point guard in the nation.
Congrats to San Diego State’s Jaedon LeDee on being selected the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year. Hoping Big Jae plays in the NBA for 10 years & continues to make a huge impact with his team, teammates & fans.
#Respect
#AztecsLegend
Many Aztecs fans were sweating the recent loss of Lamont Butler, Micah Parrish & Elijah Saunders. But credit SDSU’s Brian Dutcher & his staff in combing the transfer portal & getting 3 high quality players in Nick Boyd, Jared Coleman-Jones & Wayne McKinney to bolster the roster.
Props to former San Diego State standout Nathan Mensah on playing well in the Portsmouth Invitational in Virginia. The pre-NBA draft event includes 64 seniors from around the country playing before pro scouts. Big Nate had a huge game last night with an impressive double-double.
Nathan Mensah stepped up in a double OT late night thriller here at PIT.
17 PTS, 10 REB, 2 BLK on 8-of-10 from the field.
Big buckets down the stretch, including a couple of surprising face-up jumpers + a thunderous dunk.
Elite defender expanding his horizons offensively.
It was a blessing to watch San Diego State’s amazing run to the NCAA Tourney final this year to see how humble & talented the Aztecs & coaches were & the incredible fan & media support as the Aztecs chased their dreams. Thanks to everyone who shared in the “Miracle on the Mesa.”
After watching his team’s intense 90-minute practice Sunday afternoon at Viejas Arena, San Diego State head coach Brian Dutcher emphasized: “We got better today.” The Aztecs were focused & prepping for Utah State on Tuesday night. The teams are tied for first place in the MWC.
Good luck to ex-SDSU All-American Jaedon LeDee in chasing his NBA dream. On Thursday, the muscular LeDee accepted an invite to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the upcoming NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Jaedon hopes to impress the T’wolves in Vegas & keep his dream alive.
A Championship Celebration at Viejas Arena: The Aztecs receive their MWC regular-season trophy while celebrating with their thousands of fans on the court. SDSU 67, Wyoming 50.
When UC Irvine took a 5-point lead over SDSU with :58 left Saturday, a bunch of Aztec fans headed toward the exists, expecting a loss. But this year’s Aztecs don’t quit & won a 4th game that they could have easily lost. Believing you can win is often the fire to spark the W.
Great news today that Miles Byrd is returning for next season at San Diego State. Miles is a talented 6-foot-7 unicorn who can impact a game in multiple ways. Miles is also a fan favorite & could have a really big year in 2024-25 while helping lead a very good Aztecs team.
#SDSU
San Diego State’s Brian Dutcher gets paid a lot of money to win basketball games & provide a quality D-1 program that the university & community can be proud to support. He’s in his 6th season as head coach & his overall record is 130-43 — including 11-3 (2-0 MWC) this year.
When San Diego State needed Matt Bradley to come up with a big game to help the Aztecs keep their national title hopes alive, big-hearted Matt stepped up & delivered. He finished SDSU’s incredible 72-71 win over Florida Atlantic with a team-high to 21 points. Great job, Matt.
Final SB Nation Top 25 coaches poll has national champ UConn ranked No. 1 & national runner-up San Diego State at No. 2. A big season for both talented teams.
Never underestimate the Viejas Arena magic. San Diego State got a late steal & Micah Parrish’s tough layup in the final seconds to lift the Aztecs to a dramatic 63-62 win over UC Irvine on Saturday night. The Aztecs rallied from 7 down in the final 3 minutes to earn the win.
Wow! Twitter is blowing up over Lamont Butler returning to San Diego State for his senior year. The dude must be a 7-footer with KD skills — or maybe just an athletic 6-foot-2 guard with a 46-inch vertical, elite bball IQ, a lethal handle & a habit of hitting game-winners.
#Aztec
For the past 4 years, Lamont Butler has been a huge blessing for the San Diego State men’s basketball program & a wonderful representative of the school, the city & the community. Lamont & his family will soon look over his options to decide his next move in a bright future.
The Aztecs have add a talented two-way guard in Wayne McKinney, a former Coronado High and USD standout. He can score from all three levels, is a great defender, and has the heart of a champion. Good luck, Wayne, in your new role with San Diego State.
If you get a chance to watch video highlights of new Aztec Reese Dixon-Waters, a 6-foot-5 guard, you’ll see a gifted offensive player who can score at all 3 levels, catch & shoot, score off the dribble & has a deadly mid-range jumper. He’ll help SDSU on both sides of the court.
Congrats to Darrion Trammell & Lamont Butler on their play in the South Regional in leading SDSU to the title. Darrion was named the regional’s Most Outstanding Player & Lamont earned a spot on the all-South Regional team. Lamont scored 18 points & Darrion 12 in Sunday’s win.
SDSU’s Jaedon LeDee just completed one of the greatest seasons in Aztec history, scoring over 700 points & earning All-American honors on a Sweet 16 team. One day his

jersey will hang in the Viejas Arena rafters. A great dude on & off the court.
#AztecSuperStar
#HumbleGiant
Congrats to Coach Dutcher, his elite staff, the talented Aztecs & the incredible Aztec fans on an awesome day for the program. Coach Dutcher has built a championship culture based on “We Not Me,” respect & hard work. The Aztecs deserve every bit of recognition they get.
#Sweet16
Simple fact: Jerry West only needed a basketball, a pair of Chuck Taylor All-Stars, and a basket to hone his skills to become a great player. He didn’t need 10 different coaches, a skills coach, a strength coach, and a sports psychologist to get better. Great example.

#nba
San Diego State’s Lamont Butler was slowed by a broken wrist this season & struggled some offensively. But the sophomore is a gifted point guard & should run the team with senior Trey Pulliam gone. Butler is an exceptional defender & should showcase his all-around game next year.
Jaedon LeDee had 34 points, including a go-ahead layup with :37 left in overtime, to go with 17 rebounds to help San Diego State rally past gutsy Washington 100-97 & claim the Continental Tire Main Event championship on Sunday night in Las Vegas. The Aztecs improved to 4-1.
Today is the first official practice day for the 2023-24 college basketball season. San Diego State thus begins its quest to defend its MWC championship & try to reach the NCAA Tournament title game again. Long season ahead but lots of talent & optimism on the SDSU campus.
Cali junior college basketball is often played at a high level. It provides a great opportunity for players who didn’t go the 4-year route to develop for 2 years, then move on. A lot of JC players earn scholarships to NAIA, D2 & D1 schools. Fact: JC is a win-win for many players.
Great Photo: If you’re a SDSU men’s basketball fan, you know. Over the last 25 years, Coaches Fisher & Dutcher developed a winning culture & turned the Aztecs into an elite program that can compete nationally. Adding talented people, like Coach Velasquez, added to the success.
Good luck to 5th-seeded San Diego State vs. top-seeded Alabama on Friday in a Sweet 16 game in Louisville. The Aztecs have found ways to win 29 games this year & although the Crimson Tide are favored, SDSU is fired-up for the big challenge.
#AztecMindset
#AnythingCanHappen
San Diego State plays elite defense & gets a hand up on almost every shot, including 3’s, & attacks the glass. The College of Charleston is a very good team & makes 3’s. It will have to hit a lot of defended 3’s to win. Strength vs. Strength. I like the Aztecs’ chances to win.
San Diego State (20-6 overall) works out Sunday afternoon at Viejas Arena as the Aztecs prep for Tuesday night’s first-place battle with Utah State (21-5) on the Aggies’ home court. Both teams sit atop the MWC standings with 9-4 records.
#Aztecs
Former San Diego State standout Malachi Flynn came off the bench to play 22 productive minutes in Toronto’s 139-120 win over Houston on Thursday night. Flynn had 8 points (3/6 FGs, 2/2 3’s), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals & 1 turnover for a +23 rating. That’s very good, fans.
