Found conclusive evidence of where I got tacks 📌 embedded in my front and rear tires. This was in the bicycle lane going north on the bridge on Clark street. I tried sweeping 🧹 up as many as I could find. Careful out there, some asshole has bad intentions for cyclists

@BikingPeep As a mechanic, it's very frustrating that people buy these cheaply manufactured bicycles that were poorly assembled. Then when the purchaser brings it in for repairs, they are angry that the cost to fix the bicycle is more than what they bought it for

Critical Mass must go on until our city gets the well connected infrastructure for bicyclists and pedestrians our town deserves and needs. Until then we will continue to advocate for safer streets. Many times direct routes are nonexistent and dangerous for transit purposes

Jackson Blvd between Ashland and Laflin is an ideal street for the peaceful coexistence of bicycle and automobile traffic, in my opinion. The trees also keep the road cool and the people healthy. If only the rest of the city would be like this where cars belong in garages.

Going north on Halsted from Milwaukee Avenue is a true test of urban cycling 🚴🏿‍♀️😂. A suggested bicycle lane and an uphill climb towards Chicago Avenue, with aggressive drivers coming at you from behind, especially right before Division street. Raging cagers trying to kill me 👀💩
