Did something last night I never did before while out in Dublin: asked a girl if she's okay going home with the man she was with. As I was walking behind the couple, I noticed how utterly demeaning he was to her in what he was saying to her and a red flag went up in my mind.

Interesting here. Dublin City Council is able to close off College Green to all traffic from Friday - Sunday for 40,000 people. But 80,000 people for Dublin Pride, which contributed more to the Dublin economy than the June long weekend, is not allowed anywhere near it.

People rightly point out the removal of railway in the northwest, but don't forget that of Cork and Kerry too. In West Cork, places like Bantry, Baltimore and Skibbereen were connected by rail too. It took 2hrs to travel from Bantry to Cork city.

On my way to Lidl on Cork Street, some scumbag kid fired a pipe into the wheel of a passing @Deliveroo_IE fella on a bike by the Fatima Luas stop. He went over the handle bars. They stole his phone. The pipe ripped all the spokes from the front wheel rendering the bike useless.

I'll always cherish going down to home to canvass for #MarRef , but I never did check the results, for fear Castletownbere had voted no. But thanks to @spiller2 , I've found out just today that my hometown did Vote Yes by 55.1%. Its so comforting to know this!🏳️‍🌈 #MarRefMemories
