tried the old way, wanted something different that went against the grain. Not a fan of the old rules nor the system that put them in place. Can be sarcastic
When you go combine shopping 2hrs away from home and your 5 yr old son is with you. This is what happens.... He got his Xmas present he wanted from Santa
I’d highly recommend sitting down for 7 min and 42 sec to watch this. No matter your side, this guy just laid it out for how a lot of us feel on either side of the aisle..
Been wanting to do this for awhile. 40’ buffer along river bank and trees. No more shit corn along the tree line, no more vines, no more flushing money down the toilet on these acres, no more yield drag on the field avg. Just a down and back with my 20’

bush hog and
So my 4 yr old son Beau learned about PTO shafts today and how to unload a semi with the auger. This is his Do Not Enter Zone. His idea so he didn’t forget. Smart lil fellar. And yes his grandpa is with him
just when I’m thinking I’m failing my kids so many times, I don’t give them enough attention, I’m not teaching them as much as I should; I walk from our bedroom into the LR as game is starting and here is my 5yr old daughter during the National Anthem hand over heart just stopped
My Christmas present from the wife and kids. They let me pick it out, haha. 1989 Peterbilt full restoration and engine overhaul a few years ago with 3406 Cat. Like a kid in a candy store.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. I work with some of the best growers walking this planet. I came into the office this morning and this was on my desk from a customer that got me this for a Xmas present. I’ve wanted one of these for a long time.
And I’ve been told this whole time you can’t keep a truck and trailer nice in the fertilizer business. Uhmmm…. I’d like to argue that.

Finally! We are officially up and running. We are ready to start banding tomorrow! It’s been a looooong road starting this new business, so grateful for this. I wish everyone a safe and healthy planting season. Comn at ya tomorrow
@kruse_tim
.
New 24 row bar ready to go with our new low density 12 ton tank. Finally a guy can get a true 24k lbs with urea or low density products to get some acres covered.And no, that isn’t the tractor to pull this beast, It’s just to pull it home to its new owner
@kruse_tim
. Thank ya sir
I’m curious to know how many are starting to see this in. You HAVE TO WALK INTO THE FIELDS ABOUT A 100’ to find the heat line. This is in no way picking on any certain company , so please keep it clean. I’ve seen it in Dekalb and Pioneer later RM’s on early April plantings.
Am I the only one who thinks when there is a storm coming it is “sensationalized” beyond belief with the local tv news stations? I am 100% keeping people safe (100%); but this shit is getting out of hand every time anything pops up that they can market. Our local weather
She’s starting to come alive. We unfolded her today with fill auger installed. Next up, row unit completion and the liquid system with the 500 gal tank. This is the New 12 ton XLT 40’ bar on 25” tracks. More pics to follow, stay tuned......
Rain or no rain, the plan stays the same. First fung app at V12 has started. I know this can be laughed at but I’ve seen these dry patterns before, and while there’s not many certainties; there is one. You give up on the crop and I can guarantee it will give up on you
Newly redesigned
@Landluvr
tracks just installed on my planter. Tracks carry the weight of the planter in the field for no pinched rows behind a track tractor while the tires help assist with the weight reducing heat and increasing travel speed. Not to mention, about half the
Ain’t gonna lie, the slack I took for a truck like this in the fert business and how we’ll never keep it from rusting and becoming a sh*tbox. Just think, if our employees care this much on the little things; imagine how much they care on the big jobs.
Looking forward to harvest here in a couple months. This was single pass one and done with the strip till bar this spring. Total N at 176#. 2 shots of fungicide and Xyway in starter. Need another couple more rains to finish 💪 on kernel weights.
@land_luvr
@TEVAchrisk
New starter setup I’ve been wanting to do for awhile. Added in furrow (was nervous with having an ExactEmerge), kept the Conceal 2x2x2, and added the drop tubes for out the back. Got some serious plans for this on top our strip till bands.
Finally, we got 3 of the 4 bars up and going today for

. This month of April has not been the most cooperative and more rain again tonight. Thought I’d share some quick videos of us firing up. We have a looong way to go. Enjoy everyone, we wish you all a safe
FINALLY!
2021 corn acres: Strip Till, spray, Plant, spray, Y drop, 1st Fung pass, Y drop, 2nd Fung pass, AND FINALLY the 3rd Fung pass and done for the year until the combine rolls. We’ve adopted this program this year across our total corn acreage. So far I like what I’m seeing.
Scouting field trial today for 2 pass Veltyma post tassel fung app vs 1 pass Veltyma post tassel. Hagie applied
Field Notes:DKC65-95 @ 38k banded fertility with 171# N planted on 4/21/2020.
This is the 3rd year I’ve being doing this and always leave a strip on each hybrid/field.
Ooooohhhh so close to
#Strip22
. Fields are getting close but rain on the way for the wknd, so we’ll see what happens. Last bar of the year to get ready and she is officially done! Here’s to a safe and prosperous year for everyone!!!!
Maybe I’m biased, but to me there is nothing more beautiful than spring strips planted into old corn rows. Once I quit burying the residue down here it’s like a whole new level got unlocked consistently. Keeping that fertilizer from the old residue is so underrated
New Hagie STS12 showed up today for me to demo. So far I like what I see over my 2020 STS12 AND really like the cab improvements…
@JohnDeere
@tyler_gillett
thank you
One of the proudest pics I’ve ever had, (besides my wife and kids), my mentor who started me in all this from a meeting 10 years ago. Dr Below and I in front of one of my bars with my business name in the background on it. I’d never be where I am without him… Find you your Fred

@land_luvr
12 row is just about finished up. I was skeptical on the tractor tanks but I have to be honest, I love them so far! This smaller in our lineup should work quite nice..Very impressed!!!
@john_rohrs
@kruse_tim
I’m just so happy to see this new to me Y drop bar going and now having true banded fertility on every corn plant on every acre! And you guys thought I only liked Strip Till bars, haha!!!
Demo 2 row bar test w/ local farmer yesterday in very wet and sticky conditions. Stalks were wet as could be from the morning 2/10 rain. Absolutely blown away how well the Landluvr row unit performed in these conditions.
“No yield tweets”, never heard of her… beans ain’t bad so far for a crop that looked like complete trash the first 2/3 of its life. Plant em early boys, sunshine is free…
Not too bad for a 25ac avg for this past year and all the hurdles thrown at us. Thank you
@Asgrow_DEKALB
for the Whiskey and barstool set. Much appreciated
Is it just me or does 6.5mph during the day seem slower than pond water in a tractor and then at night its like O’ Shit, I need to slow down a little. Maybe it’s just the beer, I don’t know🤷🏻♂️
See, we can build bars that go on red tractors also, lol. Great group of farmers up by Washington, IN picked their new bar up yesterday.
@land_luvr
@john_rohrs
So, the only river elevators basically in our market ; that a huge majority sell too, now have to upload our maps to FBN to prove these fields weren’t woods in the past 4 years. Why do I feel like I’m the product here and being bought. Personally, screw the .20 premium. Thoughts?
So Beau, (5yr old son) got the new farm simulator for Xmas and also this new steering wheel with a gas and brake pedal; this is awesome as can be. And sometime soon I’m gonna let him play it cause dad is addicted, hahaha. Never been a gamer but this is fun
I’m sorry but Trump is right on this whole “fire issue” with wild fires in the forest areas. Clean the shit (kindling) up and it won’t burn as much. This is honest common sense
Combines will be rolling within the next 2-3 weeks here on earlier planted corn and yet, I’m still applying fungicide on my acres. 3rd and Final shot of 23 is in the books.
I may never financially recover from this but I could care less with the kids excitement! And a 14 hr drive w/ 3 kiddos under 8 means that dad needs a drink!
We started this business in 2019 with a core group of customers and I always wondered “if or how much” we would grow Banded Ag. I’m proud to announce we’ve grown so much that we are now under construction of our 2nd location about an 1hr south of our main location. Truly Blessed!
Midnight Oil before another 5 day forecast of rain. I’ll never cuss a rain in July but if it would hold off a couple days I sure would be appreciative.
I don’t how ride this ends yet, but man has this ride been the most up & down emotional roller coaster I have been on to see something like this at R3. My god do things look good at this stage in the game.
Some random pics from yday scouting. “We’re in good shape for the shape that we’re in,” would be the best way to put current corn crop in perspective for us. Time to start pushing now..... Very blessed with this corn crop so far.
Am I the only one scratching my head saying “who the fuck said they needed a massage chair” in the new 8R? Does it come with its own Summers Eve dispenser as well?
I posted a pic a week or 2 ago about “maybe the 38k was a tad much on the hills”, especially w/ the heat we just had. I’ll gladly report, I screwed up; I should’ve been 40k. Hindsight’s a bitch sometimes..And FYI, the lack of dent; that’s that kernel weight I’ve been talking bout
We may have missed our first Daddy/daughter dance tonight at but we’re managing to have some fun in the hospital anyway. So grateful we caught this in time and the surgery was successful, it could’ve went bad quick. Kennady wanted to tell everyone hi. I’m a Truly blessed daddy
I saw a video on tictok tonight that was perfect. It just said “the people that hate you the most, watch you the most; so make sure to give them a damn good show!”
I guess it’s time for the next generation to start learning from the current generation while the current generation is still learning from his elder generation…. Always learning
New 130ac farm this year we bought and it’s been a nightmare. Was stripped and planted on May 15th followed up by about 13” rain since then. Corn crop was failed and couldn’t replant. So a Tile job has commenced for the whole thing. 8” mains just installed today
Finally, a looong time coming but we are finally able to create the ultimate true “Banded Fertility” acre. No more broadcasting, anything....Things are about to get real fun between the strip till bars and now my new-to-me Y-drop bar! I can’t wait to see what we can do.
I’ve got a used 12 row LandLuvr bar for sale. Has approximately 1200ac on it and in incredible shape. Has JD 2000 rate controller with 12 ton tank on it. Everything works great as it should with no issues. Asking $170k. Please dm for questions. RT’s appreciated. Thank you
