@NPR This response is somehow worse than the original piece. Please listen to people and not just say "we hear you" when it's clear you're ignoring danger for clicks. My old asthma nurse would be fuming at the doctor in this response - delaying treatment in that way literally kills.

Even at the time I didn't understand why we were only observing polling station votes being counted, not postal votes. Seemed very odd but I'd forgotten til now

My sis just watched the #WheelOfTime trailer. After <40s already asked about Moiraine: "should we trust this lady or not" and saying she could still mislead after oaths. Which is how I felt for a LOT of the book 1. Let no bookcloak claim the TV show doesn't do the book justice!

It's easier for me to have time to plan questions etc rather than being bombarded with the info in a time-limited appointment. NHS being less paternalistic with patient info is a GOOD thing. Patient choice is key ofc.

I HATE that Johnson used Matlock, my hometown, for crass point scoring after our fatal floods. He didn't bother speaking to anyone affected and obviously wasn't helping (Specsavers were closed at night had to open and have extra water thrown on the floor for the photo op). Vile.

@Greeninthemiddl I once had a bad side effect but usual GP wasn't available so I saw another to discuss options. She said that it wasn't a side effect seen with that med and wouldn't believe me. I had to *make her load the NHS site* to prove it was common! There was a med student observing too...

Means testing is a really inefficient way to try and get support to people who need it. There's a reason poverty experts advocate for universal, non means tested policies.

@riverrowphoenix @ventihibiscus I had the same issue when renting - I was the only earner (partner was finishing PhD with no funding), so to avoid guarantor fees, I was responsible for 100% of the rent on official forms. Still they always sent letters addressed to him first...he got just as annoyed as me!

The last thing we need is Drs and nurses like this deciding for the person and talking over us. Patients should have choice, that's all we want!

@MartinSLewis My Gran got her Visual Arts BA (Hons) in Nottingham at 70. She was with a mature group, some people older than her. She did it in 4 years with ME, wished it was 6! Us grandkids and my Mum helped with practical stuff like exhibiting, as did her parents! She's an incredible woman.

@itatiVCS If alone, you wear an alarm box that clips to the front of your shirt and sends an alarm if it goes too far off vertical (e.g if you faint). I'm not exactly flat chested...I couldn't find a way to clip it and not set off the alarm. I had to *hold* it in one hand for hours instead
