#mnwild
Media Relations Director, PR for
@United_HL
. Love my family, watching our boys play hockey, soccer, golf, collecting sports cards and 🍺 with friends☘️
What Jason and his family have done in our community is both genuine and amazing. Thanks for everything you have done for the State of Hockey both on and off the ice! I will really miss Jason's glare and being yelled at every single time I walked into the
#mnwild
locker room.
I can't say thank you enough to
@CharlieCoyle_3
for all the great things he did to impact so many people in our community during his time with the
#mnwild
. He always made time to put a smile on someones face. Keep up the good work back home Charlie...All the best!
This has been a tough week. Bruce Boudreau was a great coach to work with. He always made time for media and loved talking about hockey. A solid combination! He has coached 984 games in the NHL...I hope he gets to 1,000. Best of luck Bruce!
Hey
@NordyWild
, thanks for dropping off Ryan Hartman’s check to
@childrensmn
today and thanks again to everyone that donated. Awesome work everyone!
There are many awesome things about working in sports. Today was a reminder that there are times when it really sucks! Dean is a fantastic human and did a great job as our head coach. It was a pleasure working with him...most of the time🤣 Best of luck Deano, you will be missed!
The
#mnwild
added G Marc-Andre Fleury, D Jacob Middleton, F Nicolas Deslauriers and F Tyson Jost to its roster in the last week. I am very excited to see what happens come Stanley Cup Playoff time!!!
Thanks Mikko for everything you did for our organization. You are a tremendous leader both on and off the ice. I know it wasn't always easy, but thank you for always putting the team first. It won't be the same without you. Love you brother!
There are times that working in pro sports really sucks. Today is one of those days for me. Chuck did a lot of good things for the
#mnwild
over the last nine seasons and I will miss him. Thanks for the all memories...
#mnwild
forward Zach Parise now ranks T-1st all-time in NHL goals scored by Minnesota-born players:
Zach Parise 340
Dave Christian 340
Phil Housley 338
Neal Broten 289
Matt Cullen 260
Wow...it's amazing how quickly nine seasons have gone by. Zach and Ryan helped the
#mnwild
win a lot of games but did so much more for the organization, especially in the community during their time here. Thanks fellas and all the best to both of you in the future!
Khovanov tallied 74 points (25-49=74) in 64 games with Moncton this season and ranked second in the QMJHL in PPA (26), eighth in PIM (94), T-10th in assists and T-11th in GWG (7). Congrats Alexander!
Thank you Devan Dubnyk for everything you did for the
#mnwild
organization both on and off the ice. You found time for every request from the media and our community partners it seemed, and I know there were a lot of them. Best of luck to you and your family in San Jose!
The last three lottery picks for the
#mnwild
were very good:
2012 - Matt Dumba (7th overall)
2011 - Jonas Brodin (10th overall)
2010 - Mikael Granlund (9th overall)
The attendance for tonight's
#mnwild
game is 19,072 - the 209th straight regular season sellout
@XcelEnergyCtr
and 650th all-time regular season sellout.
Wow. Big news today. What a career Mikko! Thanks for all the memories over the years. Some of them even included you smiling😀. All the best in retirement and can't wait for fans here in the State of Hockey to have a chance to say thank you for an amazing career
@XcelEnergyCtr
!🙏
In his last nine starts,
#mnwild
goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen is 9-0-0 with a 1.44 GAA, a .947 SV% and two shutouts, stopping 233 of 246 shots faced.
#WinningIsFun
!
It's hockey season folks! The
@XcelEnergyCtr
ice is being painted tonight by
@mnwild
season ticket members. Training camp starts Sept. 14...can't wait!
This doesn't get old...Since his first start with the
#mnwild
on Jan. 15, 2015, Devan Dubnyk is 154-86-23 with a 2.31 GAA, a .921 SV% and 21 SO in 272 games and leads the NHL in GAA, SO and games played and ranks second in wins and SV% (min. 175 games)
#NHLAllStar
With two assists tonight, Jared Spurgeon now ranks sixth in scoring in
#mnwild
history:
Mikko Koivu 709
Marian Gaborik 437
Zach Parise 400
Ryan Suter 369
Pierre-Marc Bouchard 347
Jared Spurgeon 322
Andrew Brunette 321
It's been awesome seeing how comfortable Mikko Koivu has been interacting with media leading up to Sunday's big honor. Lot of smiles😀. He's very proud of his time with the
#mnwild
and thankful for all the support he received throughout his career.
#mnwild
goaltender Alex Stalock is playing against the
@DetroitRedWings
for the first time in his career tonight. Stalock has now played against every team in the NHL.
Congrats to Kevin Fiala on scoring his 100th career NHL goal. He becomes the fourth Swiss-born player in NHL history to tally 100 goals joining Timo Meier, Nino Niederreiter and Roman Josi.
Anyone else looking forward to seeing how today goes for the
#mnwild
? There's a 12-pack of diet mountain dew in the office fridge so should be ready for anything. Let's Go!!! 😀
Special thanks to
@Jason_Zucker16
for doing interviews throughout the contest tonight: warmups, 1st intermission, 2nd intermission and postgame. Appreciate you taking the time and sharing your big night with the fans
#Friends
Soucy, Staal, Hunt, Zuccarello, Rask (GWG) and Suter all score, Fiala and Parise add 2 assists each and Dubnyk makes 40 saves to lead the
#mnwild
to a fabulous 6-4 victory at Colorado
#WinningIsFun
!
It’s an honor to be named a recipient of the Dick Dillman Award! Thanks for all your help this season
@MeganKogut
and Emily Yang and thanks to all PHWA members for continuing to bring the great sport of hockey to fans around the world during these challenging times
#WinningIsFun
!
I have had the pleasure of interacting with lots of players during my time with the
#mnwild
and Eric Staal is one the best...EVER! Such a good human being. His smile and thoughtful conversation will be greatly missed. Good luck in Buffalo Eric!
Thank you to all the great
#mnwild
fans for your support
@XcelEnergyCtr
this season. Tonight was a tough way to end a difficult home season. Looking forward to bigger and better things next season!
Solid work all around by the
#mnwild
PR and digital crew this week. Thanks for your efforting (in no particular order) Megan, Erin, Dusty, Dan, Brandon, Chris, Tyler, Paul and Carts 💪🏻 Keep up the good work!
It appears the
#mnwild
magic # to clinch its sixth consecutive trip to the Stanley Cup Playoffs is still four points as COL, LA and STL can all get to 99. A Wild win and a regulation loss by the Avs at LA tonight would clinch it for Minnesota.
The
#mnwild
enters the NHL Holiday Break 17-15-3 (37 points). Last year Minnesota was 18-14-3 (39 points) after 35 games. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
Tough way to end but it was still a fun season. Lots to look forward to for the
#mnwild
in 2021-22 including playing in a full
@XcelEnergyCtr
again😀Thanks to all our media for their coverage this season and to our great fans for their support. Next season will be even better!
The
#mnwild
extends its point streak to a season-best 7 games tonight (4-0-3) and cuts its magic number to clinch its sixth consecutive Stanley Cup Playoff appearance to 5 points
No one said making the playoffs six straight seasons would be easy, especially in the Central Division. No Spurgeon for 4 weeks certainly isn't good news, but
#mnwild
has a 5 point lead with 12 games to go. We got this!
#Faith
NEWS: Jared Spurgeon is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks due to a partial tear of his right hamstring suffered in last night's
#mnwild
game vs. Colorado.
Over 300 youth hockey players attended the third annual Matt Dumba Hockey Without Limits Camp today at the John Rose Oval. Awesome day for a fantastic event. Well done Matt!
The
#mnwild
now has five players with 20 goals this season (Kaprizov, Hartman, Fiala, Zuccarello and Eriksson). Florida and St. Louis are the only NHL teams with more (six) according to my calculations.
#mnwild
trails Dallas by one point for third place in Central Division and has a three point lead over Calgary for final Wild Card position. Wild on pace for 99 points this season
Hell yeah!!! Well done fellas. Great efforting all around by the
#mnwild
as Joel Eriksson Ek scores the GWG and Cam Talbot makes 42 saves in a 1-0 overtime.
#WinningIsFun
!
The 17 goals scored by the
#mnwild
in its last three games ties the franchise record for most goals scored in three games. Minnesota also scored 17 goals in the last three contests of the 2008-09 season: 3-1 vs. DAL, 8-4 vs. NSH and 6-3 at CBJ.
