Bets should never have to go to approval. You hang a line, set a limit and take that limit instantly. Too many trading rooms hold bets in the queue and accept or deny after acquiring more info. This is especially true in live betting markets.

IS BUYING PICKS WORTH IT? (1) Not too long ago I thought anyone who sold picks couldn’t make money on their own and that’s why they sold picks. My past experiences helped shape this opinion. But I also learned that we as humans have this innate desire to think in absolutes.

On arbing buying back. 🧵 1/ Your betting strategy can vary depending on where you’re at. If you’re just starting out and building a bankroll, there’s nothing wrong with arbing or playing both sides to improve your number on a side and reduce variance.

2,000 BETS That is the bare minimum you’re gonna need in sample size before deeming any strategy profitable. Anything less is statistically insignificant. If you’re profitable over a sample of 2,000 bets, it’s safe to say it’s not luck.

Too much is a relative term, but if you’re sweating out 1 single bet, there’s a good chance your bet more than you should. No 1 single bet should ever be big enough to make you sweat. If it does, you’re doin it wrong.

It doesn’t matter how good you are. If you bet long enough, you’ll eventually get hit by variance. How you handle inevitable downswings will determine a lot. PROS DONT FOLD UNDER PRESSURE.
