I have returned from Mexico, having got my medical treatment. I am very happy with the work. It appears to have solved my medical issues as predicted and hoped. I am exhausted by culture shock and fatigue, and will be resting till New Year.

@TerfsFearMe @rooafzapapi96 Yes... but delegitimising racist historiography is important too. E.g., in Martin Bernal's 'Black Athena: the Afroasiatic roots of classical civilisation'. It helps open up academic platforms and the Arts. It helps weaken the social reproduction of white supremacist instincts.

Controversial opinion of the day: child circumcision is abuse of bodily autonomy, & the operation should be offered without pressure at the Gillick Competence point, not forced by parents. (I say this as someone cut as an adult, so I'm not anti-circumcision, just pro-body rights)

I have blocked all communications from my sister. I cannot take her transphobia any more, and she cannot be reasoned with. Once again I'm grieving that my life is so far from perfect that 'decent' is unwinnable. Estrangement is painful, but radicalised hate needs a social penalty

I'd be well pleased if the concept of 'gender affirming procedure' was abolished completely, & we just had full bodily autonomy. You don't owe anyone your reasons. Does an art supplier demand to know if you are a PreRaphaelite or an Expressionist? No. You get the paint on asking.

Tomorrow = 6 month castration anniversary. Fought for treatment for torsions/ inflammation/ autoimmune explosion 5 years in 🇬🇧 before I fled to 🇲🇽. I'd been on the strongest opioids. I collected my T today from the pharmacy -- remarked I haven't touched painkillers in 6 months.
