I think the reason Cody didn't interest me in #AEW     was that it was still a WWE character. It was one dimensional and didn't evolve. Events didn't influence the character to change long term. The neck tattoo was a lame attempt at branding. Frankly he fits the corporation.

If I'm reading things right, WWE pays its' labor less than 10% of its' revenues. Every collectively bargained agreement I can find in sports (the closest equivalent) is around 45-50%. That is a LOT of money not being paid to talent.
