@CBM_Cringe
Snyder fans seem to unironically want Superman to be the Kingdom Come Flash. Always flying around and doing superhero stuff. No time for Clark Kent stuff or small, personal moments.
@zoofries
@dlbarbeau05
People really need to understand the difference between generative AI (bad), AI tools (usually good), and regular CGI (also good usually).
I see all 3 of these get similar levels of hate because people don’t understand the problem with specifically generative AI
@pooeyfart
@jarvis
Jarvis has never worked with Cody and said he will never.
I dont think he has to make a video about it just because they make videos of the same genre.
@coochiemak
She came out months ago and I’m seeing tons of people saying she’s queerbairing or doubting her because she’s mostly dated men. BI PEOPLE EXIST.
@Cryptic_Memes_
I remember one person theorized about a scene where Tobey hits on Aunt May and goes “What? She’s almost the same age as me!” When he gets a weird look from Tom. Marisa is 10 years older than Tobey Maguire. Everyone seemed to think Tobey was like 60.
@basedgizmo
Why are people so obsessed with controlling how other people experience movies? They also paid to be there and it’s a public space. If they want to use their phone they can. If you’re that bothered by people using their phones in public, don’t go to the theater
@pooeyfart
@jarvis
He might make one. People are only just now talking about it and making videos like that takes time. Id prefer he take his time and make something good than rush something out just to make sure its out
@Picklemaddierix
I’m a zoomed who loves Seinfeld and I always assumed that the material was good at the time but it seems cliche now because it’s been so long.
@musicallaneous
I remember people were mad that Wonka was a musical and then I had to remind them that the original is also a musical and then started arguing with people over whether or not the 1970s Willy Wonka was a musical or not
@pr3cipitation
I mean, Google has become basically useless so using ChatGPT to find specific advice is a lot more efficient. Using it to actually do your work for you is kinda wack though
@blondchameleon
Normally I don’t point out grammatical errors but I just thought it was funny that you used “could of” and “could have” in the same sentence.
@fiddlersgreen92
The irony is that Jenny is like, THE Disney adult. She loves the parks. She just thinks people deserve better from one of the biggest companies on the planet, especially when they charge increasingly more for their parks
@soup_606
I like the artificial webs but it always bugged me that none of Peter’s inherent powers are unique to spiders. Most bugs stick to walls, ants are also super strong, and spider sense is pretty much entirely made up. Webs are pretty much the main thing spiders are known for
@bigT_721
@lakesagna
In the first episode a dude at the party says that Pim is “so old” and tells him to go back to his wife and family. So he’s always been at least like 30.
@Avionyx
@MKVRiscy
I can guarantee you that 99% of the people who leave that there are just too lazy to remove it/turn it off and aren’t trying to subtly brag about their iPhone.
@house0fEl
@filmsbypjd
It is from an ad but to be fair, we see tons of shots of the metropolis skyline and never see the Daily Planet globe so it’s safe to assume it looks something like this.
@captaintrainor
@CBM_Cringe
Your point is just wrong. A major part of Superman’s character is that he has godlike powers and still makes time for the little things.
@JackLanter8402
@pattbb8
I wouldn’t call it “TikTok brained” though. Lots of movies have a fast pace. I don’t think a 3 hour long movie that’s mostly dudes talking could be “TikTok brained”, even if the editing is fast
@no1payakanfan
@ZacharyJLuna
I could honestly see Nicholson pulling off an older Batman in a more detective focused story. I’m basing this entirely on Chinatown lol
@Q_Review
I always have to explain this to people but In N Out doesn’t have the best burgers. What they do offer is consistently good burgers with fresh ingredients at a good price. It’s really hard to beat that.
@isilanka
@jaketropolis
That’s why I like Triangle City’s videos as he usually explains why something was cut based on interviews, or simply the fact that it was unfinished, or he will outright state that he doesn’t know why it was removed.
@The_GM_is_God
I’ve unironically seen some Snyder people saying this lmao. Gunn isn’t trying to pretend that it’s candid. It’s very obviously a staged shot for his post lmao
@GreatCheshire
It also feels like they weren’t making last minute decisions in post production. Like, in NWH supposedly the brick that Matt Murdock catches was originally a snow globe and they replaced it later. Why? Lmao
@Kung_Fu_Cthulhu
@ThomasThorbur11
If anything, the Donner “homages” just seem like they’re referencing the Superman mythos as a whole. Keep in mind, this is the fandom that think Jimmy Olsen is some nobody Z list character and forget that their fav villain Darkseid made his debut in a Jimmy Olsen comic
@ItzKrism
Snyder fans also love to talk about how “no one saw TSS”. So how could a deleted scene from a movie that “no one saw” negatively impact the public perception of a character
@isilanka
@jaketropolis
Sometimes that is the case though. It’s hard to tell what was cut because they couldn’t put it in and what was cut because they didn’t want it in.
@Mr_Smith618
@TheAlexSylvian
It’s funny to me that I know exactly who you’re talking about and it seems to be a universal experience for everyone who watches the show lol
@ThomasThorbur11
I can’t think of a single adaptation that was “trying to be Christopher Reeve” except for Superman Returns which is very explicitly meant to be a follow up to those movies
@hates_place
It’s funny because whenever someone suggests an animated continuation of the Snyderverse keep using this out of context Snyder quote where he says “never compromise” but Snyder himself has said that he’d be down to do it lmao
@The_GM_is_God
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, Snyder fans love powerscaling. They were powerscaling the real life Ben Affleck against Robert Pattinson’s Batman because Ben speaks Spanish irl and Battinson didn’t figure out the Spanish riddle lmao
@ringtrick
@basedgizmo
I don’t use my phone in the theater because I personally find it distracting when other people do it. So I don’t want to do that to other people
@EricWaffles
I think that account is bait but the Snyder cult is pretty similar to Trump supporters. Not in that they’re conservative but in that they’re a cult centered around one man for some reason.
@knifeenjoyer
There’s a weird subset of SF fans that overanalyze everything. I remember seeing threads about whether the scene where Charlie drunkenly spins his knife was non-consensual knife play or not.
@gem_ste
My local Barnes & Noble had a “dad rock” section for their vinyls and it was like Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, Sublime, etc.
Dad rock is still like 70s-80s @:7:8,
@bigT_721
@lakesagna
True but I don’t think he’d say that to someone who was like 18-20. And Pim’s dejected “I’m not that old” isn’t really the response you’d expect from someone that age 🤷♂️
@Real_Babydoll13
@DC_Craft_Server
People aren’t mad that you all talk about 10 year old movies. It’s that a lot of Snyder fans constantly shit on anything new DC puts out just because it isn’t Snyder.
@niklaus1300
@B1sh0p04
Most of the people doing that stuff are nameless burner accounts that everyone hates. The big names in the Snyder twitter sphere are constantly being shitty like this though
@LamictalThot
@mmoussa_s
@CosmonautMarcus
Heath Ledger had nothing in his filmography that indicated that he could pull off a role like the Joker and he nailed it.
Bale, Keaton, and Pattinson all have roles that show they can convincingly play a crazy person which makes me think they’d also do a good job.
@mmoussa_s
@CosmonautMarcus
There aren’t really many characters like the Joker in media. These roles just show that the actor is capable of effectively playing crazy people, which is tough to do convincingly
@matthewfdesmond
@Picklemaddierix
I didn’t even mean that it’s become offensive or anything. Like you said, it was very middle of the road comedy that’s become more cliche
@halo2mappack
Hidden loading screens will always be 100x more immersive than obvious ones. Idk why people expect games like this to literally not have load times lmao
@GodzillaMendoza
@Parzival_jay
I’ve always said this. The movies act like he’s super grotesque and hard to look at but really he just looks like a lumpy, bald Ryan Reynolds.
@pooeyfart
@jarvis
Jarvis also likely shares a big audience with DeAngelo and his video is being spread around a lot today. I dont think Jarvis needs to say anything on YouTube. Id be more concerned if he ignored it completely. Like I said though, videos take time. He might be working on it
