If Zahawi can pay off >£5 million (today’s estimate) to avoid prosecution for tax evasion, why can’t people on UC who accidentally overclaim £3.27 simply pay it back? They get prosecuted by DWP. More £m given to the DWP to hound benefit claimants than to HMRC for tax evaders

@patrickwintour FCDO provided legal advice to Cameron in December which said that UK arms exports to Israel may be used in committing crimes under international humanitarian law. Cameron chose to ignore the advice and signed export orders anyway. A new contract was signed with Elbit on 14 Jan 24

@BestForBritain It is gross negligence at the v least. Truss had little support from Tory MPs, and was elected by 0.2% of the population. How does that give her a mandate to throw away £45 billion of OUR money, increase our debt massively, and destroy our global financial credibility?? For what?
