<24h fasts improve metabolism, increase focus, make weight management easier, and can still burn fat, lower insulin levels, and initiate cellular repair without ☆ving. it's helpful for beginners and people who can't afford to miss meals 🫶
i'd rather eat the cake than play "best ana", deny food, and get myself into in-patient. my dad doesn't play that. i'm on ice thinner than any of you with that man.
i think fatphobia isn't a result or symptom of the ed, it's just worsened by the illness. fatphobia is especially prevalent in all online spaces because nobody can see you, that's why you have openly fatphobic fat people on here
personally, I'm a highly involved, advanced student, and I need my parents to know I'm eating, so having the fatigue, brain fog, and ed suspicion that comes with longer fasts is a risk I cannot afford 😞
@tonuhye
it depends. consistency, hydration, nutrition, sleep, and stress are all major contributors to how effective fasting is and to weight loss as a whole.
@cambriancals
I've denied food so many times just in the past 4 days, at least 3x/day 😭 but it's a new week, so now I can eat!! (and hopefully rid him of his concerns..)
looking at my bf knowing we won't last until my next birthday because even though everything's probably fine, there's always some invisible expiration dates on all of my relationships, friendly or otherwise <<<
@jeiiyc4ls
gradually make your regular coffee more plain. I started with milk, then took away a tsp of creamer until I could drink it black. also don't get strong blends, they literally make me gag
don't be pro-ana when you're quite literally the bigger person. being the most disordered "best ana" and shaming others obviously isn't paying off if you're bmi 22, end of story. be nicer. be smarter.
to edtwt:
ed: diagnosable; irregular eating habits and severe distress or concern about body.
disordered eating: wide range of irregular eating behavior, may negatively impact physical/mental health.
THEREFORE, disordered eating is a precursor or less severe form of an ed.
@pinkdxggers222
this makes sense! it only becomes a problem if it becomes a frequent habit in larger calorie quantities. I ate well over 2,500kcal on vday, and I'm currently paying the price with restriction 😞
if you like this person, just hb me. they deleted their fake ass apology and the number of people calling me fat, greedy, etc. over their qrt is disgusting.
this would be a funny situation if the real guy wasn't getting comments from all the weirdos who were attracted to "archer". can we consider the consequences of our actions?
