I bet Nothing Phone 2a will be able to produce 3d, or rather stereoscopic, photos and videos. By using the viewpoints of the 2 cameras as if they were two eyes, it's possible to create a depth effect from flat images That's why the communication as fresh eyes 👀

The back of the phone is not solid color, but rather a gradient to stay true to the shades of the sky. The buttons and NFC coil are turquoise to make the eyes, which are the main identity of the phone, stand out in contrast.

Designed between London and Milan, the process involved inspiration, discussion, and experimentation. Initial ideas evolved through a big moodboard, with concepts refined through iterations. Final textures merged lighting in the dark with Nothing's dot matrix language.

We designed not just the packaging but also the experience around it. Exploring light as a ‘material’ to affect perception, involving more than one sense. A packaging that can be seen, felt, and touched, even in the dark, moving beyond typical glow-in-the-dark designs.

Nokia N9, a great example of smart Scandinavian design A smartphone with a plastic unibody flush with a curved glass designed to facilitate the swipe, the gesture on which the UI is based Sounds like a flagship device from 2018, but this is a phone Nokia launched back in 2011

People don't want to hear about your company or your product People want to hear about them or the best version of themselves

You don't buy the product but a vision of what your life will look like after the product comes out Good design is about creating a feeling, yet today most products lack emotion They want to please everyone, don't take sides and are soon forgotten

Memory is fundamental to human existence The way we remember is linked to the technology we use spatial photos and videos = spatial memories That's why I believe there is a huge opportunity in allowing people to capture their lives in 3D

A photo is not necessarily the best way to preserve memories Screens have led us to live in an image-centric society We need to think about how memories are formed Our memories are outsourced to technology Proactive AI will be critical for recalling this kind of information

Inspiration Our concept blends sleek materials with neon-green accents and intricate circuitry patterns. Inspired by bioluminescent jellyfish and digital matrices, the design fits previous stage winners. The packaging is consistent with the @nothing family yet stands out.
