i genuinely don’t care if you think cassian andor is boring or if you thought rogue one was boring because all that tells me is that you lack the ability to understand a complex, thoughtfully written out character/film 😭 bye

boba fett killing cad bane gave me obi-wan killing maul in rebels vibes. one has grown and moved one while the other has subconsciously rooted themselves into the past, which ends up being the cause of their demise… it’s like poetry it rhymes

it’s interesting how no matter who is in charge of the galaxy, the rich and privileged are not affected by the happenings outside of the comfort of their wealth— and definitely turned a blind eye to what was happening with the empire in reign

these parallels were so interesting to me because regardless of how much time passes and/or who is in reign of the galaxy, the privileged people don’t change because they’re not affected by the grip either leadership has on the galaxy
the parallel between dedra saying “if i was them, [that’s] how i’d do it” when discussing the rebels and their activity throughout the galaxy and luthen saying “i’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy” in andor
do you ever think about how coruscant is like, the NYC of star wars, and how citizens were probably like “i’m moving to the planet that never sleeps! big dreams ahead!” and they get there and a rat shows them around their apartment like “this is OUR room”
“There wasn’t any controversy at all. From the very beginning, no one ever said we couldn’t do it. Our whole attitude is it’s just another relationship. I mean, it’s one of the least complicated relationships in the show” - Tony Gilroy on Vel and Cinta’s romance

I think what’s interesting is that Qimir is a master manipulator and he is using seduction/desire to get Osha to fall 😭 And it seems to be working. The soft touches, the using her trauma “against” her, the “I’m just like you” tactics... I’d be surprised if it was genuine
star wars actors having headcanons for where the characters they play are from is actually one of my favorite things in the world. charlie saying yord is from alderaan is very special to me
#TheAcolyte
Every line delivery from Lee Jung-jae/Master Sol was said with such power and emotion; I could feel his distress in some scenes and his hope in others. I have such an adoration for this Jedi and we’re only two episodes in. I can’t wait to see more of him 🤍
#TheAcolyte
people keep focusing on how cassian helped build the machine that killed him— but i personally think we should focus on how he absolutely helped destroy it

brasso memorized exactly what maarva said to him. i cannot imagine how many times that man probably wrote it down, practiced them in the mirror, repeated them to himself while he worked so he could make sure cassian got to hear how much his mother loved him

grogu using din's bandolier as a seatbelt was one of the cutest and most efficient things i have ever seen... just a space cowboy and his baby

the implication that cassian and melshi are both working together in a prison that is forcing them to make parts for the exact same weapon that will be the reason for their demise is so upsetting and unfair

luthen rael saying “i need all the heroes i can get” and then it cutting to this scene of cassian and melshi single-handedly changed my entire life

cassian and melshi did not only build the parts to the death star confirmedly but they built screws that made up of THE part of the death star that was the result for their demise

cassian’s “nothing” after being asked what he was in prison for was bone chilling because yes it was for /nothing/, and the reason why everybody’s sentence was extended was because of aldhani’s events and cassian had to find that out whilst serving his sentence
I forgot people who have not watched Rebels will not know the extent of Chopper’s true chaos when they watch Ahsoka so I truly hope his introduction is nothing short of a display of the most highest of war crimes a droid could ever commit

cassian telling the announcer to go on program was an amazing moment to watch. to be incarcerated for nothing and treated like just a name with a number over his head to using their own horrible terminology against them—i fucking love star wars and i love cassian

i will never get over the fact that they decided to go with the cassian and melshi friendship storyline that was practically only canonized in young adult books… i want to see all of their reassuring gazes towards each other, they say so much
tony gilroy may claim he doesn’t “know” star wars or doesn’t quite care but i have to say he knows star wars more than anybody i’ve seen recently make a star wars. he is perfect at portraying the galaxy far, far away.
somebody posted these two images on tumblr but i can’t help but notice how both dedra and mon keep bonsai trees in their spaces, which are (usually) “meant to bring a sense of accomplishment to someone’s life without being overly demanding or damaging the environment around it”
seeing love in so many different forms in

is so refreshing and i can’t stop thinking about it. love means so many things and is expressed in so many different ways and it’s not all romantic, it can be familial or a close friendship
