I liked this book so much that I tried to visualize Gudrun in a sketch. I sometimes drew her before, but I was embarrassed to show it because I have a bit of hyperfixation on her and I feel ashamed of it.//////////. I don't expect her to appear in Fate but at least I can daydream

On the other hand, Tolkien was very careful with the character of Gudrun. His son described in his notes that the Professor liked her very much. He compared Brynhildr to a June storm that thundered and passed away, while Gudrun's anger was predetermined by her fate.
