Did those 44 notices go up on Brockwell Park trees on polling day as it was too late to influence the vote. Had they gone up a week earlier @LambethLabour might not have been as lucky at the ballot box. This whole episode in Brockwell Park is shameful. @lambeth_council

Effra Road Brixton Hill Acre Lane Brixton Road Milkwood Road Norwood Road Christchurch Road Streatham HS Tulse Hill has registered 7.5 times pollution over safe levels. I live there. Come here? the sheer volume of HGV’s navigating Herne Hill gate to get into Brockwell Park. When they return to remove the infrastructure, must be high 100’s of vehicles in the park over the month. Yet @LambethLabour have dealing with the climate emergency as a priority. Really?

Look at the state of Effra Road near the Town Hall. Cannot cycle there you’ll be off your bike or damage your wheels even car tyres will not fair well over this. It is a mess. Why is it left like this. @LambethLabour @lambeth_council

Hi @LambethLabour why is Brockwell Park exempt from your climate emergency plan and cleaner air ambitions? Suspect not the only one asking why it doesn’t apply to this area of Lambeth. Full of fumes, generators, HGV’s, cars, lorries, vans, plant machinery since 15th May. 💨 💨

Brockwell Park, the scorching hot summer of 2022 gives way to some lovely autumnal colours. 😁

comments off again. Don’t blame just the rain. The same rain and amount also fell on this part of the park outside of the barrier. Yesterday⬇️. Look at soil compaction and years of sheer weight and repeated destruction of the ground inside the barrier over a decade as a starter.

Sadly Brockwell Bounce the free children’s festival tomorrow in Brockwell Park has to be cancelled because of the heavy rain Due to the rain the site is currently unsafe for children - but a free event is planned for the school summer holidays instead

This is terrible news for Tulse Hill. This tree is a landmark. Another large tree about to be felled in Tulse Hill. Still haven’t replaced the ones felled on this road over the last decade. @LambethLabour

here is another. The barrier could easily have gone around back of it, leaving it for park users to sit on. Now out of use for a month.

dismayed, this does not seem the right way to in a climate emergency. Replacement trees will take many decades to achieve the size of these trees. More carbon chucked out. @LambethLabour @Lambethgp @brixtonbuzz

biodiversity claims of Lambeth Labour and @lambeth_council were tested during the tree felling proposals during nesting only a few weeks ago. Claims now shredded especially when it comes to Brockwell Park. A whole area of habitat destroyed⬇️. Appalling. @BrockwellParkCP

LTN roads fume free. Meanwhile in Tulse Hill we have plenty of 💨 💨from traffic at a standstill and slow pace. Even two schools this road makes no difference. Rush hour this otherwise it’s 35-50 mph. It is a joke @LambethLabour @RushCommonLab
