It’s cursed AF. I need to add a pistol grip and mag catch. I think there is some play with the mag, shooting with two hands holding mag off camera I can get it to run well, one handed with the camera I get some FTFs. It’s getting there. Learning a lot with this basically

I may be retarded but I basically put anti-seize on everything when working on cars. Never been an issue. Took the truck in for new tires. After 1.5hrs (there was a line) the service guy comes in & says “see this on the lug nuts? It’s anti-seize” Me “yeah I put it on everything”

Rifled a longer bbl this past week. Mk II Upper but. Mk I lower. After i fixed the headspace the FTEs went away and it seems to run pretty good!

One of the folks workign on powder w/ me has been an enormous help. Theyre not only knowledgable but have helped improve & simplify the process. They recommended switching to MCC opposed ot other cellulose sources like cotton. Using HNO3 & H2SO4 w/ MCC was how i was able to get

Using the hno3 and h2so4 made/cleaned w/ my new chemware id say this batch of NC was successful. I need to let it finish drying, then polymerize w/acetone, dry, flake/grind, and test. This will be a slow single base rifle powder as it’s probably too slow for pistols.

Some of you may recall a "Freedom LPK" beta aiming for DIY AR sprigns, detents, & pins. While that is not my project, one thing on my list of things to try was a DIY AR LPK. The room has been dorment so, w/ the help of several others, it appears that this may come to fruition.
