Is Michigan the only the only state (of 36) with approval to play High School Football but requires athletes to attempt to compete while breathing through a face covering? It was 95 out when Rice played CC in Sept of 2017... Sounds like a well researched and brilliant decision.

Transparency isn’t always synonymous with honesty. It is sad when “leaders” are unwilling to be responsible over fear of being viewed as irresponsible. NOTHING changed from this past Monday to today MHSAA! If different then offer it up!!!!! You owe it to your constituents.

CHSL Central Division has had a state champion 9 of last 10 years with 10 total Championships within that timeframe. Add to that the 30+ State Championships between the 4 current members.....pretty certain it’s not even close....Best League in the state!

Just got off the phone with THE legend and one of the greatest coaches & people ever, Coach Fracassa. I always remind him...that if I just coach for 39 MORE years and simply win 10 games a year, and avg. 1 Title every 3.5 years, I will pass him in wins and Titles! 😂😂😂.

It’s taking time to digest but when a fball program’s cumulative GPA is 3.45 & qualifying only for the state regionals is a bitter pill to swallow, the kids & support within your program must have some real special people! 7101 Lahser Road for any 8th grader or college coach!

We allow casinos to open at 15% knowing the higher health risk for those who typically attend because we are legitimately worried about the economy but we cancel football which is played by healthy teenagers who are at a lower risk to protect their health?

The MHSAA isn’t the federal government. The feds get their guy 95% of time. The MHSAA catches like .002%. You have to make a serious error or have poor intentions to be forced into a non COVID forfeiture during the playoffs.

After 3 years, Brother Rice's run/pass distribution is 52/48%. A 62.5 win %, means more run plays at the end of games. In a system that involves all, it's important to know - the Stone Age didn't end because we ran out of stones! Great place for big and small skill!

Just saw a car sticker @ license plate pointing out that presumably this coach’s football program won a State Title. Empty can rattles the most I guess. Imagine legend Al Fracassa toting rings or putting stickers & vanity plates on his or Phyl’s car for each of his titles 😂

We keep seeing these seniors from Brother Rice going to elite colleges next year. I wonder how much getting an EDUCATION - not just a diploma - from a school that has been committed to in person EDUCATION since August has helped. Why would risk it if you don’t have to?!
