Another method for Orange Cap: 1. Calculated the average runs and average SR of Top 15 run-scorers. 2. Calculated percent differences of runs and SR compared to average values for each batter. 3. Added both the values and arranged the sum in descending order to get the rank.

Since 2019, every series in white ball cricket is looked at as a preparation (trying out players) series for next ICC event. There is not much value for winning the series or performing against strong teams. And it is not restricted to India. Most teams are never full strength.

@cricketist93 Pragyan Ojha, Ajit Agarkar, Ambati Rayudu. Ojha took a 10-for in his final Test and never played again. Agarkar played his final match before 30 and yet picked 288 ODI wickets. Rayudu deserved to play earlier than he did and was denied chances despite performing.
