@flightradar24 It's an optical illusion. Not corkscrewing. It's caused by gravity waves in the upper atmosphere most likely: The waves likely exist over a huge area but are only showing up where the plane caused condensation along its path.

The quickest I've ever seen a NWS radar refresh is approx. 2min. Storm motion will possibly exceed 70mph tomorrow. This means that any tornados which form could travel nearly 2.5 miles between radar loops. Be extra weather aware tomorrow, every second will matter. #iawx #mnwx
