This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in football. I don't know what's dumber. The Lions snap it early or the Bucs not using the last timeout to try to win the game.
It's not every day you get business deals in your inbox as compelling as this one. Decisions decisions 🤔🤔🤔.....
If this gets 1000+ likes I'll reveal the why
I've been on
@Twitter
for 12 years, have over 6,000 tweets, have the world's best dog in dog history as my profile pic, and I'm at 192 followers.
That has to be the worst activity + longevity to follower ratios in social media history.
At least I make myself laugh

An app that makes saving money awesome. Save money and get weekly chances to win prizes up to the $10 million jackpot. The more you save the more chances to win

Coming from someone who left finance to get into startups, this is absurd
Plenty of great reasons to go into finance and to not go to a startup, including a steadier career, interest in the work, a less risky path to making good money, and helping facilitate new companies.
We should stop teaching English in high schools and replace it with classes in personal finance, nutrition, and programming.
How is debating how Gatsby feels on page 58 more important than knowing how to manage money responsibly, live a healthy life, and understand technology?
Every time I talk to an investor and acknowledge and address an obvious potential challenge in our business and they say "wow so refreshing to hear you say that" makes me wonder what kind of complete and utter crap most people spew
A paradox of life is that sayings things with confidence makes people think you're smart, but the smartest people know the world is usually too complicated to speak with a high degree of confidence.
This is Trump and Fauci.
I wonder how much money the world would save in annual health care expenditure if we changed two simple social conventions:
1) Replace the handshake with a wave
2) Everyone sneeze into their elbows instead of on their hands

Why the hell haven't they interviewed Bugs Bunny yet in The Last Dance? His last second dunk against the Monstars was by far his greatest basketball moment
To the fully vaccinated young people wearing masks with no one around them in 100 degree humidity, but pulling your masks down to smoke a cigarette... I want to study your logic
Society's use of the word "smart" bothers me.
Typically people use smart to mean "good at math" or book smart. There are many different kinds of "smart" that are just as important, if not more important.
Instead of saying someone is "smart" we should say what they are good at
Before arguing with someone about a belief, you should ask them:
a) How confident are they in their belief?
b) When the last time they changed their mind about a belief?
If the answer to a) is close to 100% or they can't come up with one for b), don't waste your time arguing.
By far the biggest benefit of learning to code is not the coding itself.
It's learning:
a) It's normal not to know how to do something
b) Almost anything can be figured out on Google
c) How to Google things in an efficient way
a) is probably the most important one.

How does this compare to their week 2, week 3, etc win pct for SB winning teams? An 85% win pct is high (13.6 wins per season) but top teams each year do win 12-14 games.
All this stat really means is that teams with high reg season win pct often win Super Bowls.
How do I know the Bachelor isn't scripted? You can't write stuff this good. It would be too far-fetched.
4 seasons in a row now with unbelievably far-fetched drama. Bravo
@chrisbharrison
you've done it again 👏👏👏
Excited to share this episode of Forward Thinking Founders w/

If colleges shut down in the fall, there's a huge market opportunity to charge $50k to teach kids useless facts, how to get drunk, how to do drugs, and give them a stamp of approval that they were accepted into this program
Got recognized on the street today. Must have been the first time someone who was stopped on the street asked for a selfie with the person who stopped them
Cardinal rules of life:
1) If it sounds too good to be true, it is
2) If someone can't explain it to you like you're five, they're the fool, not you
3) Don't invest in things you don't understand
Most importantly...
4) When JPEGs start selling for over $0.01, run for the hills
All I have to say tonight is that Barb stepped so far over the line that she can't even see the line. The line is a dot to her.
Barb could not have been more wrong or more unfair.

NYC - the city where people wake up at 6am to battle to sign up for a spot in a $40 45 minute SoulCycle class, but every escalator is an overcrowded mess right next to a completely empty set of stairs... 🤔
Kicking the field goal was not that crazy of a decision. Bad yes, but not crazy. Pete Carroll calling a timeout to ice the kicker was worse, giving up a possibly useful timeout for the fallacy that is icing the kicker
Does the coronavirus taskforce really need to spend an hour and a half every single day doing these press conferences where rarely anything productive is said?
This time would be much better spent working on solving problems. Should be weekly unless there's something new to say
At what point is the daily struggle of getting the very last drops of toothpaste out of the tube not worth the immense satisfaction that comes from a successful squeeze?
People have way too many high-conviction opinions. There's too much to learn to be able to have high-conviction opinions about so many different things
There is no dumber stat than "xyz team wins the game 90% of the time when they run the ball more than 30 times, so they need to run the football!"
Teams that kneel the ball 3 times also win 99% of the time. Doesn't mean you should kneel 3 times
Texans 1:22 on the clock on offense. Bucs have 1 timeout. Kneel it 3 times and game is 100% over. Bill O'Brien decides to run it, risking a fumble and a penalty. They get a penalty, and now the Bucs get the ball back.
And Bill O'Brien gets paid $5,000,000/year...
At 6:30pm today, I was ahead in the fantasy football finals by 30 points.
Then all of a sudden, points started pouring in from Green Bay, pouring in from Dallas, pouring in from Washington.
This was a landslide and a fraud.
Sad!
Venmo update: Day 2 of grandma on Venmo. She couldn't get rid of the notification icon after getting a request, so is going to delete Venmo.
She says she doesn't like Venmo. Prefers Chase. Most predictable thing to happen in 2020.
Can't believe the week of Nov. 3rd is only a few days away. By the end of next week, we'll finally know whether Tayshia is the new Bachelorette or if Clare continues her journey for love.
So Trae Young without an ankle injury doesn't have to wear a mask, but with an ankle injury has to wear a mask.
Interesting science - I would love to see the

Businesses that lose $2 billion a year are awesome
Basketball coaches: "I'm so worried of XYZ maybe fouling out and missing minutes, that I want to 100% force them to miss those same minutes by stashing them on the bench"
McCormack only playing 9 minutes in the 1st half is absurd
Who's the genius who designed the sink where you have to have one hand continuously pressing the handle down for water to come out? It's probably the dumbest design in human history

Funds were held at Evolve, a member FDIC bank.
The cards that were frozen on May 11th are also issued by Evolve. The same freeze that has caused thousands of customers not to be able to spend their own money for 3 weeks now.
I still feel sick for
@JoshAllenQB
. You have the greatest playoff start in history for a QB, make incredibly clutch late game plays on fourth down, score again miraculously, and then your coach decides to only use 7 of the 11 allowed players on defense to lose. Can't get over it
People hate on me for watching the Bachelor.
The only difference between TV like last night's debate and the Bachelor is that at least on the Bachelor some of them are there for the right reasons
