If this was a centimetre on the other side of the line people would be talking about what an unbelievable save this was, not criticising his positioning or blaming him for his own height. It was simply unlucky. Kepa was solid yet again yesterday, people just want to see him fail.
Thomas Tuchel has guided us to 6 finals, won us the Champions League and managed us superbly through the most difficult of circumstances last year. The man isn’t perfect and isn’t exempt to criticism, but he deserves all the time and respect we can give him 💙
West Ham are expected to reject 2nd proposal from Arsenal for Declan Rice — £90m total fee, £75m + £15m add ons 🚨⚪️🔴
#AFC
West Ham believe £15m add-ons are also difficult to achieve.
Hammers still expect Man City to enter the race this week.
Arsenal remain confident.
Should have won but nevertheless it’s becoming the common theme. We can play as well as we like but as long as we don’t have someone to convert these chances we are going to continue to have nothing to show for them. Great trip nevertheless and all to play for at the Bridge 💙
Roy Hodgson who retired from management, came out of retirement and got a new manager bounce but Frank Lampard couldn’t even manage a big chance created.
Wonder if there’s a stat where a manager has returned to a club for a 2nd time and lost both debuts.
Fantastic second half performance to send us off in great spirits for the international break. Almost as many goals this afternoon than I witnessed the entirety of last season. Up the chels
@CFCDaily
It will not be remembered for anything other than being a great result and the fact we’re coming away from this almost disappointed without a win is wild from what we all thought was going to happen, you’re allowed to drop your agenda from time to time.
21/22: THREAD
A very sore way to end the campaign but nevertheless a very special season for me on a personal note.
Turning 18 has given me a license to follow chels over land and sea this year and it’s a year that i will never forget.
Chelsea are in final negotiations with Stake over becoming new front of shirt sponsors on an initial one year deal. Gambling sponsors banned at the end of the 2025/26 season. Story to follow

My god we’re gonna regret this one. Genuinely going to be devastated if we lose Mase which is looking highly now. The state of this narrow minded fanbase who are ready to chuck away our POTY 2 years running due to some bad form. Imagine my shock when he turns it up for a rival.
Frank Lampard back at Chelsea?
Throw back to Tammy Abraham’s winner against Arsenal on their own patch 💫🔵
*And we’re ending your title charge this month :)
Been almost emotionless in the last few weeks watching Chelsea play but the nerves have already fully kicked in for this one tonight. Our season continues or ends tonight. Lets hope for another memorable night under the lights at the bridge💙

@RJPJournalism
Completely disagree mate, you can’t compare bringing Frank in as an interim to sacking Potter. When AVB got sacked, we gave a Chelsea man the interim role to lift the spirits and push us to the end and we all know what happened there.
@flameosumeet
It’s actually crazy, if it was Liverpool we wouldn’t have heard the end of it and as you said literally no one has even heard of this one
As far as I’m concerned it’s time to move on now, he’s come out apologised, he’s solved problems behind the scenes and it’s time to move on from it. Not forget, but move on.
When committed he is vital to the squad and it’s time to get right behind TT and the team 💙
My line up for tonight. A midfield 3 is vital to match Madrid up and I think that combination could be the key to unlock them. Kai always seems to turn up in Europe which is why I believe he needs to play. Could see Sterling playing over Felix though.
Everyone at Chelsea Football Club is devastated to learn of the tragic passing of our former player, Christian Atsu. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
@CFCDaily
Bruno picked a team in which he has worked closely with for 7 months which is the same team that got his head coach sacked. Frank has been in for less than two days, took charge of the first game, will realise what he can or cannot play. We can’t play 4 at the back.
We would massively regret selling Conor Gallagher. He bleeds Chelsea and it is evident how much he wants to play for the club. His over eagerness to impress has cost him in the last two games but once he settles down I have no doubt that we have a world class talent on our hands.
Question time,
What was the first Chelsea game you ever watched at Stamford Bridge and how old were you?
My first game was Chelsea vs Bolton 2011/12 aged 10 up in the West Stand Upper.
We won 3-0
We will never find another player like this man again. Whether the time is right not not (which I believe it isn’t) this one was always going to sting. Chelsea Football Club were blessed to have this man and without him, we wouldn’t have two stars on our crest. Thank you NG 💙
The hate and abuse towards the new owners is forced imo. They’re not going to get everything right in their first season but they’ve invested in the current squad and the future with more clearly needing sorted. Weren’t complaining when they were splashing in the summer
@OliviaBuzaglo
It’s because people on here see him as Mason Mount the footballer, not the person or the way you see him through work. I’m sure he is a very likeable person but most of the people you will interact with on here won’t seperate that from the football side.
🚨 EXCL: Ben Chilwell set to sign new 4yr contract at Chelsea. 26yo left wing-back approaching final 2yrs of current deal so fresh terms will take expiry from 2025 to 2027. Ends uncertainty over future amid interest from Manchester City
