Not really sure what to say, which is unusual given what I do for a living, but today my Dad Glen passed away peacefully at Ashgate Hospice. Extremely grateful to have said goodbye in person & very lucky to have superb friends & family to help us deal with his incalculable loss.

Re tonight’s topic on @footballheaven , I’ve never understood fans leaving football games early, or fans leaving any event early for that matter. Why bother going at all if you’re not going to stay until the end? It’s an individuals choice, and rightly so, but I don’t get it.

First I commentated as 4,500 fans returned to support #BarnsleyFC in the Championship playoffs. Then I played in a Staff v Media game & scored a penalty at the away end, while @IanOllie7 helped babysit our twin boys. All at Oakwell in the last 24hrs. Special, surreal times 😊
