Did you know the Canons of Dort don't explicitly affirm or deny limited atonement? They were written in a way to be accepted by delegates on both sides. English delegates, who believed in universal satisfaction, influenced the 2nd head of doctrine and fully affirmed the Canons.

The late R.C Sproul said Christ became an incarnation of human sin during the crucifixion. Hyperbolic or not, this is utterly reckless and wrong. Sin isn’t substantive, so it can’t be incarnate. Christ was TREATED as a sinner; He bore our guilt but did not become sin itself.
