Demolishing strongholds and proud things that raise against knowing that our God loves and provides for everyone. (A Provisionist Podcast with Eric and Drew)
“God doesn’t heal today”
“God doesn’t speak today”
“God has pre-ordained your sins”
“God must cause you to believe”
“Dreams of Jesus are demonic”
…all sound like things that Satan would have you believe. 🧐
Imagine being the young woman’s father and hearing this spiritual predator implicitly call their 5-year relationship a “hiccup” not long after you confronted him about it… (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
If you are a Calvinist Southern Baptist pastoral candidate, you KNOW your beliefs are controversial and in a minority.
So maybe just be upfront with your would-be congregation instead of slowly “reforming” the church and complaining about it when they get upset.
Steve Lawson, after being hard on sin and uncharitable with his theological opponents, faces what he has sown.
If he must eat his own words on purity of life and doctrine now, so be it.
Fear God, brethren.
Steven Lawson’s "inappropriate relationship" deserves more clarity to prevent gossip and speculation.
Truth and transparency matter for his followers and congregation, even without unnecessary details.
"‘I present before you today life and death, choose life so that you may live.’ — God
Calvinism says your choice was set by God Himself.
You 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 choose life, but you 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑𝑛’𝑡—so how can you be responsible?
@MAClark85
God doesn’t change his mind on a whim.
It is in response to His people humbly pleading for mercy (Hezekiah), repentance (Jeremiah 18, Jonah), etc.
Dead men also don’t walk in sin, are not disobedient, do not live in fleshly desires, etc.
Deadness is a metaphor for separation from God not literal inability. (See John 5:25)
"If Calvinism is true, one could throw bananas at the lost or sing the national anthem of Bangladesh in Swahili, and it would have the same effect upon the lost as praying, witnessing, or hearing the gospel."

@PastorRWR
Washer turning “Good News” into “Bad News” again! 🤦🏼♂️
“Good” News doesn’t 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 “bad” because some reject it. It just 𝐢𝐬 Good News! 🙌🏻
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
—John 3:17
When this is the title, you know that they will try to make a case for limited atonement. No one who’s normal, will ask this question. We all know that Christ died for everyone!
I am once again asking the Online Calvinists to read their Bibles:
“For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL MEN, especially of those who believe.”
—1 Timothy 4:10
(1) God desires all should be saved.
(2) God draws all men to himself.
(3) God gives all the opportunity to repent and receive Christ.
3 Important & Blessed Truths 💯 🙌🏻
Christian leaders' moral failings across all traditions remind us: a close, loving walk with Jesus matters more than just having 'sound doctrine.'
Faith is about a relationship with the Truth, not just True Beliefs.
“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
—Tim Keller, 1950-2023 🙏🏻 😞
What combination of words would you accept from Yahweh to convince you that He 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 decree child sacrifice if not these?
#Questions4Calvinists
#BaalGate
Why do Calvinists complain about the state of the world when things are happening exactly as God wants?
It only makes sense for free will theists to tweet this sort of thing. 🧐
Again, God allegedly “violating” your free will would establish that you have it, not that you don’t. This argument is self-defeating.
#CalvinistsCantMeme
“inappropriate relationship”
“strong romantic overtones”
“no literal fornication”
“adulterous in spirit, if not in fact”
This weird, chary language is why the elders should have done a full investigation and given clarity.
As it stands, they plan to sweep it under the rug.
@The_Hellenist
“The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting ANY to perish but ALL to come to repentance.”
—2 Peter 3:9
The reason He doesn’t yet return is to give everyone (yes, you!) more opportunities for repentance. 🙏🏻
You demand theological rigor and consistency but when tragedy strikes you dodge critique and clutch pearls.
But if your precious doctrines can't stand up to real-world crises and tragedy, are they truly sound?
Calvinists: God has foreordained all evil for His good pleasure and I praise His name for it. Soli deo gloria!
Also Calvinists: OMG I'm so sad and outraged this specific evil thing happened in the world just like the rest of you. So sad and mad about it 😭😡
What does it mean to “submit” to the will of a Being whose will is always accomplished whether I “submit” or not?
“Submission” only makes sense if free will is true.
If I say these 3 truths:
“God loves everyone.”
“Christ died for everyone.”
“God wants everyone to be saved.”
Am I doing “theology by negation” or being “anti-Calvinist”?
If so, so be it!
