enemies-to-lovers just doesn’t work in romcoms. the characters are usually immature, “hating” one another over some dumb thing that happened years ago (most likely the miscommunication trope) and the “banter” when attempting to be clever is borderline disrespectful

i might do a more thorough post on this later but i noticed that some WTDSS marketing material has Liska aged 17 and that is NOT the case. Liska's age is mentioned once in a flashback, and that flashback happened almost two years prior to the events of the book. Liska is 19 😌
