🧵A very quick scan of the data reveals that we now have 22 ‘conscience’ MLAs who have committed to voting in favour of the Abortion (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020. Combined with SF’s 27 seats, that will make a 49/90 or 54.4% majority of ‘pro choice’ MLAs in Stormont. #AE22

Tomorrow with sisters in UK parliament we will seek ways to assist with tragedy awaiting US women. In UK abortion rights have progressed but in almost all of UK, a woman's right to choose as I have done each time I was pregnant is still written in criminal law. This must change.

Speaking on @BBCRadioFoyle this morning about the disgraceful intimidation of pregnant women attending the vaccination centre at Foyle Arena. It is unacceptable that protesters entered the centre and shouted abuse at those in attendance. I urge anyone with info to pass to PSNI.

We are disappointed (to say the least) with the @sinnfeinireland amendment to Paul Givan’s anti-choice bill What this means is that the day when services are finally commissioned, abortion in the cases of foetal abnormality will become illegal
