I haven’t priced recently, but lace making is almost a lost art and they have no backing and are fragile. Nor does the public understand their use any longer. They are an anomaly now. I believe that the machine lace manufacturers are riding on the coattails of handmade lace’s

The safest way is to take it to a seamstress who owns a seger. 3 or 4 threads, add a layer or 2 of white. Also someone skilled with a needle could blanket stitch white over it.
Or mix dawn, baking soda, avg, hydrogen peroxide paste, soak, wash.

I haven't a full length picture of it yet. But, my wedding dress 1991 from about 1910. I absolutely love it 😍 and have an appropriate hat to go with it.

I’m sure everyone expected me to dress in widow’s weeds when my husband died. I didn’t have my 💩 together enough. But, I totally understand this outfit. It removes pretense.
I’m not going to draw ✍🏻 petty parallels.
I’m in just as much wonder as Christian and his namesake were.
But, out of the corner of my eye 👁️ I recognize something.

Why do people get mad when someone uses analogy? I don’t.
The simpler the explanation the better the understanding of the explainer.
That is to say, one wouldn’t fully understand or grasp a subject in its entirety until able to communicate it in the simplest way. That way the
I’m in love 😻
Ok did the maker know…that the chef would plate with a delicate flower 🌺 of food for the original design on the ware?
Uuuuuu omg 😳 all of these are so beautiful 🤩
I love 💕 when creators layer works together. I’m sure my business schooling really taught me

I should also tell you that by the time I knew them for canasta and champagne, they didn’t sun ☀️ anymore. And one left her entire collection of 50’s, 60’s dinner dresses to me a few years later. I could hardly believe it 💝
@CarolineBignell
I’m sorry sweetheart. I just broke 2 nesting lavender Pyrex casserole dishes that I was SO excited to have as a young mother and was a precious gift from my late husband. I cried for 2 hours cause he’s just disappearing. Big hug 🫂
@dearsusanbranch
I just want you to know that I have been buying your art since the mid nineties. It was a planner.
I’m so touched and excited that you asked us for input. I’m beyond grateful I get to follow you on Twitter. 🐦
@itskleine
Do you have a brooch, pin, or safety pin? You can thread 🪡 the pin through just above the slit 3 or more stitches and it will raise that part of the dress creating a train in the back.
@mistresstailor
I loved costuming plays with new groups as they delved into their characters. It was like watching the lights 💡 turn on in every room in the house.
And then with set and lighting design for their characters.
@dieworkwear
Have you ever been hit in the face with one of those metal bits from down lower when it’s slipped off position? I blame Gallagher for the rainbow 🌈 colored suspenders I wore in the 7th grade.
I will argue the fit of these any time as they are literally support garments meant to
@MadameGilflurt
I have thoroughly enjoyed this collection/montage. So many eras represented. I also have a new appreciation for parachute wedding dresses after this 💖💝
