One of the most devastating effect left by British and Dutch colonists are the division between Malaysians and Indonesians in regards to their cultural heritage.
We continue to see flags instead of seeing that maybe, just maybe, that our culture might overlaps with one another.

MY GOD IS THE LAST PART FOR CHAPTER 2 IS FUCKING HEART-WRENCHING!?!! I CRIED LIKE A CHILD AS I SEE MR. KARSON WIPED BY THE STORM, AND SOTHEBY CRYING INTO MR. KARSON'S JACKET!!!
@tukka_tukka
"Treat fictional characters as REAL people" if we were to actually treat fictional characters as real people, then shipping would be considered harassment, writers would be murderers/torturers, even drawing to adults having sex consider as rape. See how that argument falls apart?
@focalorism
AND THEY ALSO SAID THAT THEY HATE NAVIA X WRIO BECAUSE THERE'S A 21 YEARS GAP, AND WRIO X LYNER BECAUSE THERE'S A 27 YEARS GAP.
But they're into Wr!0l3t7e ๐ญ
@n_wulan_n
It's not about whether Malaysia or Indonesia were before colonisation, it's about that because how the communities function before colonisation, cultures tend to go further and reach other parts of Nusantara. It is not by any case denying that the culture's origin.
@makeupagiplayer
Pre-farmed means no more farming! Congrats for getting to this point! No worries, if Kazuha ain't coming next patch he sure comes in future patches!
@skyebatungbakal
"you can actually consume the media without supporting the actions and morality* in it" oh, how they are so close yet so far the same.
Jijik.
@HElZ0V
Calm down, Baizhu has been there since 1.0 and 16 patches later, he has not made a playable character. We'd only need to wait half of that amount and that's okay. Plus, leaks are still not confirmed, only the likeliness is high.
@n_wulan_n
That is not my fault, or anyone else. Malay supremacist have been trying to screw history for years to benefit them and justify their supremacy in Malaysia, strengthening their importance and their elitism here. You're barking at the wrong person here.
@mutamakes
If you hear anything in the middle of the night, especially in godforsaken hours, do not respond. Ignore and move on.
Also, if you smell something pleasant, be sure to keep your mouth quiet as well.
Basically, something out of the ordinary, do not react.
You can say that something originate from somewhere, but never something belongs to someone when we have shared cultures for millennia. Palembang wasn't part of Modern Indonesia when it first started Songket, or Maluku when Rasa Sayange first started sung.
@FarahMohan
Aku punya teori masa bebudak dulu adalah sebab kita dalam dunia game. Bila kita mengembara ke tempat lain, dunia sedang download data. Bila kita balik, dunia dah sedia ada.
Tapi bila duk lama kat satu tempat, dunia buang data.
Kreatifnya pemikiran bebudak ๐
@hibiscusdrop
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING LIKE, OR IF THE MEDIA IS SO OBSCURE THERE'S ONLY A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE DO MAKE FANARTS OF THEM AND THE ONLY WAY I EVER FIND OTHERS MAKING THEM IS THROUGH AN ARTIST THAT DOES IT!!!
Before the political border of today, Malaysia and Indonesia does not exist. The people moves from one place to another. The only semblance of political borders were as defined by the pre-colonial kingdoms. As people move, they bring along their culture.
To understand why Malaysians always 'claim' Indonesians' cultures, we must also understand that many Malaysians have their roots from Indonesians. Malay for example has its name from the kingdom of Malayu, once located in modern day Indonesia.
By all mean, you may correct people when it pertain to inaccuracy. Songket didn't originate from Malaysia, or Rasa Sayange didn't originate from Malaysia, but that doesn't mean that these cultural heritages aren't significant to the Malaysians to our own identity.
@twtsecretsmy
@n_wulan_n
Yes, because you need to understand what 'Malay' means in term of Malaysian politics. Malay is not the same to Indonesian as to Malaysian. Malay is not purely cultural, but also political. Malay is anyone that seem Malay, speaks Malay and practise Islam.
Long ago before we exist, our ancestors had brought their culture along with them. Their culture is much as theirs and as much as ours. I'm sorry if you can't see that because of your blind nationalism, but when talking something pertaining to culture...
In the end, the commoners of Indonesia and Malaysia pit against each other when their leaders roused hatred against one another. While they, the elites, will continue look down on us, amused, of what petty little things we shall fight about now.
@hannaalkaf
Except, for SEA schools, it's at all school! Public school? Haunted! Private school? Scary! Islamic school? Hush-hush! Missionary school? There's no war in Ba Sing Se.

Focalor didn't give up the authority back to Neuvillette because he's more competentโit's because he's the rightful owner of said authority as he is the sovereign. Y'all really need to re-read things smh.

understandable. i remember those fans criticising aloy for being immersion-breaking because she doesn't belong to the world of teyvat and forgotten the bit that the travellers are, in fact, doesn't belong to the world as well.
it's a time of pandemonium.

No. Your intention might be right, be the message itself is wrong. Ignoring your emotion will make thing worse in the future and the consequence is graver if left unattended.
Acknowledge your emotion, seek help if needed and never invalidate your own feelings.

"Why the heck they choose Lisa instead of Albedo?!"
Quoted from Lisa's character story, 1; "Lisa is tasked with managing and maintaining the vast collection of books in the Knights of Favonius library, as well as ensuring that their potions are always fully stocked."
@n_wulan_n
It is just that before colonisation, people moved around and as a result, they brought their culture along. When they landed in modern day Malaysia, they descendants continued on living with the culture that they brought here. It is as true theirs as they are true to yours.
Dear Malay Muslims,
Exmuslims are pissed because legally, they're still Muslims hence they are bound to the Syariah Law. They do not have the same rights like other non-Muslims and still answer to the Syariah Court.
As culture is observed, others might also follow. And with a decent amount of people, the culture then became part of that area. This is the stone hard truth that many of us deny till this day because of our current politics.

Termimpi yang aku baru masuk sekolah menengah. Tidak sedar pun yang itu mimpi. Sungguh besar hatiku. Tapi bangun-bangun, kusedar itu hanya semua mimpi. Masa lampau sudah jauh meninggalkan aku tetapi aku masih terperangkap dalam kemungkinan di masa lampau. Menangis aku lepas itu.

Also, if we are referring to that DM, the mother also juggled 2 other jobs. Not that she can't do other jobs, just that the other jobs can't sustain their living.

For sure! Never in my 7 years in fandom has ever I used source materials to justify my ship unless to further solidify the ship itself! People need to cut some slack and enjoy things beyond canonical.
