I really love bright, fuzzy daytime #horror that give off that surreal, dreamlike feel. When it feels like real life, but not quite. Films like HEATHERS, SOCIETY, most recently BRAID or SWALLOW. Idk what it is, the aesthetic just does it for me #TheLastDriveIn #MutantFam @shudder

Im awake after sleeping on ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, hot damn! What this film gets right is not letting Alita get lost in the spectacle & CGI landscapes: everything felt real bc she feels real. Action-packed, visually stunning, & charming AF. This is how you make a blockbuster 👏🏽 8/10
