Not everyday building ‘luxury apartments’ that citizens can’t even afford. Somebody show this to Osu King of Zamunda, that this is what changing lives actually looks like
I know these government people thought it would just be noise for 2/3 days then we’ll be tired. Lmfaooooo tired? phone pressing generation? 😭

They’re in the replies saying she should ask her mother what she did. Even if there’s animosity b/n the parents what does it have to do with their daughter??
I’ll say again that Bawumia’s presidential campaign is to test how stupid Ghanaians are and if that man succeeds, we’re finished is an understatement.
#FreetheCitizens
#EndGalamseyNow
Bawumia was the ACTING President of Ghana on the day the protestors were arrested.
Just wanted to put that out there. Regardless of him being Akuffo Addo’s puppet, he was still the one in charge that day 🫠
CEO of Zoomlion Ghana . An elder of the church of pentecost who have decided to pay worker Ghc250.00 a month and even that after 9 months they haven't received any money . But goes to church every Sunday to sing and pray to God. A man of God oo. An elder. Smh
Sometimes yes, protest peacefully. But sometimes too understand that you can’t negotiate with your oppressors. We’ll learn soon

Kenyans understand and get it. Yesterday, they brought tractors filled with sand to block roads, demanding the release of abducted protestors held in police custody. As a result, the police released their members. They ain’t playing with no one!
This is the video of Cedric and Michael’s arrest. Count 5 says they assaulted an officer. Where in this video did they lay hands on any officer? Count 3 says they caused damage. What them touch? this be sad o. This be very heartbreaking
#FreeTheCitizens
Releasing the protesters is not enough, I need a group of lawyers to deal with Ghana police when this is over because the tomfoolery they’ve shown these past couple of days can’t be overlooked just like that

I hope my BIIO girls love this collection as much as I do bc when I say I put my whole natussy into it I’m so serious. Like I’m grateful to them for giving me the time to perfect this new look for the brand. It’ll be worth the wait I promise 🖤
Zoomlion workers being exploited
Absurd fuel prices
Inflation
Abysmal healthcare
Our Democracy in shambles
Our water is being poisoned
CHEDDAR
Protesters being held by the state
NPP on the verge of staying in power
But nope, look at the gay people!!!
The authorities are BOLDLY saying ‘If we allow this one person their rights, a lot of people will realize what they’re entitled to and start demanding accordingly’
And that doesn’t scare you as a citizen? Wild
Many teenage girls died while attempting abortions after being impregnated by illegal miners in Kyebi. Only a few young girls are able to pick up after becoming pregnant. Quite troubling.

The first time you experience racism the feeling is very defeating especially as an African because your whole life you’ve never felt or been a minority. Idk how to explain it but it reaaaally hits you
Clearly you people are not serious about sparking change in this country. We’ve not even scratched the surface of how radical we SHOULD be if we want things to change. He no force because he threw a key. Actually unserious.
Kwasia if you as the ENVIRONMENT MINISTER can’t speak on issues concerning the ENVIRONMENT resign and go sit at home. A waste of taxpayers money

Me in all this I keep thinking about people who have been wrongfully imprisoned and have no one speaking for them. Because imagine if no one knew this guy had been arrested like he’d be wasting away in nsawam by now Ei
I really hope this never happens again. Leaving our brothers and sisters to fight on the field alone. If there’s anything today has taught me it’s that there really is strength in numbers.

I know I said on this TL that cutting your friends off for their political stance is radical but today I’ve been radicalized. I’m willing to end friendships over NPP support.
Do people realize this issue goes beyond hair? And that someone is being denied their constitutional right to education because of their religion? And we’re actually defending this shit? ei
Idk but as I got older I’ve come to realize that our parents didn’t really hold back the emotional part of parenting intentionally, most of them just genuinely don’t know to engage emotionally. They grew up in a very very different time.
Parenting in Ghana is just paying school fees.. in many homes that's what matters. Love, bond and attention are absent. Some parents just wanna brag that their child is a lawyer or doctor etc and at the end of the day.. they don't know if that child is damaged or mentally okay 🤦🏽♂️
This afternoon, my wife
@SBawumia
, children and I had lunch with about 100 cured lepers from the Ankaful, Ho, and Weija Leprosaria at our residence in Cantonments, Accra.
An arrogant liar on top too. If they’re being held because of their ‘behavior’, explain the charge sheet falsely accusing people who were literally just fucking STANDING THERE.

Someone tell Marique that when there’s money left after sorting everything out he should do some 2 weeks at Safari Valley na trauma ho aduro ne chilling
Dear Creative,
Don’t depend on likes, views and awards to validate the groundbreaking work you’re doing. Especially in Ghana. The work you do is not for everybody and that’s really okay 🖤
Happy to present my debut collection, ‘The Programming’. 🖤

Make we all wear Black Black tomorrow to work and school. If they ask you why u tell them about the Galamsey and the Protest. 🙏🏽 There are so many ways the message can reach the citizens

Personally I will repost, unpost and repost this post every 2 hours for the rest of the week because nobody in this government pisses me tf off more than this woman

Smallholder farmers in the Birim North district are losing their crops and farmlands to irresponsible mining activities.
Yvonne Neequaye reports not only are these farmlands being destroyed, but the Pra River is also facing severe pollution.

Someone put

“Posterity will judge us all” is what you say when you’ve given up. And posterity doesn’t really judge, it has no agency and incapable of judging anyone. So, demand better now. Stand up to thieves and your oppressors.

This is actually funny because when you think about it, parliamentarians created a ‘problem’ out of thin air, passed a law to ‘solve it’ and have now created a bigger problem they don’t have a solution to. Ah well, all the best to them
Ghana's Ministry of Finance has urged President Akufo-Addo
@NAkufoAddo
not to assent to the anti-LGBTQ Bill
💢 Highlights negative impact of the passage and the implementation of the 'Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, 2024', aka anti-LGBTQI Bill, on the economy
Wait, ghanaians GENUINELY believe that Ghana is going to crumble and spiral into great hardship if gay people are protected by law? Oh this is a joke right? RIGHT?????
Starting a thread of people wearing my clothes (BIIO)
1. Aisha Ayensu (second frame), Founder and CEO of Christie Brown. Finally dressed the woman that taught me a lot of what I know now 😭🖤
Organized labour has declared a nationwide strike starting on October 10, 2024, after the government's failure to meet their demands on illegal mining (Galamsey) by the set deadline.
‘we are calling on all workers to stay at home until government accedes to our demands’
That advocacy part of the bill dier they’ll get me because if you think I’m about to shut up when people get attacked and beaten up because of their sexuality you lie roff. Kwasia I’m in my house come and carry me
I’m not sure how you guys went about rating Umaru Sanda because Prof Audrey Ladzekpo really exposed the unintelligence and callousness with which Ghanaian journalists address issues in this country. The amount of misinformation that almost slid past was CRAZY.
