Just leaving the count- the Liberal Democrat’s have almost wiped out the Conservatives here in Mole Valley. From a Conservative Council in 2018 we now have 30 Councillors and the Conservatives 3. There’s now the real prospect of sweeping the Conservatives nationally from power

I recently spoke on @BBCRadioSurrey on the crisis in policing in Surrey: Police morale lowest ever with 20% wanting to leave, PCSOs cut by 75%, to 2 in Dorking and 1 covering Horley. No monitored CCTV in East Surrey. Horley police station shut & Horley crime up 50% since 2017.

. @HighwaysSurrey is working night and day to fix the diesel spill. But local restaurant owners phoned me in tears that Dking High Strt will also be closed 8pm-6am from Mon for 10 nights in their 8pm golden hour. I’ve requested Highways to reschedule 👇or not start until 10pm

Yesterday I spoke about the urgent need for more NHS dentists in Dorking and Horley - constituent after constituent has raised with me how it is almost impossible to get an NHS dentists- with devastating consequences for our children who can end up in hospital with tooth decay

I strongly support Mole Valley District Council’s application for a banking hub in Dorking. Until now Dorking hasn’t been eligible to apply as we still have Nationwide- but LINK recently changed the rules. We need more banking facilities in Dorking after all the branch closures.
