I've nvr known a time harder for musicians. The cost of living is sky high. The often reinvested 'disposable' income is gone. Funding bodies are maxed out.Algorithms suppress unless u are dealing ads. W/O private funding yr brilliant songs will not see the light of day. a tragedy

Any bands (especially multi-millionaire ones) charging a buy-on to their tours-get in the bin! The industry is in fragile recovery, musicians are struggling, now is not the time to further concentrate your wealth. Can't deal with these seedy practises starting to creep in again !

I can see no justification for taking 25% of musicians merchandise income. Especially when you had no hand in meeting the costs of making the merch. Musicians arent taking 25% of the bar sales made in their name. What am i missing @UlsterHall ?

As a mother of 1-year old twins I work at a loss to protect my career prospects @bbcradioulster It costs me £98 per day to have my children cared for so I can work. It's a constant struggle with no end in sight, throw in furlough pay reductions + it's almost impossible to balance

Applying for nursery places in Belfast is awful. A combination of inconsistent session times, wraparound care shortfalls, lack of integrated options and ultimately the system doesn't prioritise any form of consistency for kids. Plus it still costs a bomb for working parents.

Ah Lyndon. My babies were two days old when the news broke and I cried so hard. Couldn't handle it then and if I think too much about it now it hurts. So sad to see someone so full of life stopped in their tracks, sending all my love to his nearest + dearest ❤
