Football part of things completely aside, I left today’s presser grateful that Tony Elliott is UVA’s head coach. He’s the best man to be leading this program through this and, while I have no idea how that happens, I have complete confidence in him as a leader of young people.

Reece Beekman is on track shatter his own UVA program record of 73 steals in a single season, currently on pace for 93 in the regular season alone. Ryan Dunn is on track for 84 steals and 88 blocks. No Virginia player has had more than 55 of both in the same season. ELITE.

In 24 minutes tonight, Ty Jerome scored a CAREER HIGH 18 points on 6-10 shooting from the floor and 6-8 (!!!) accuracy from the behind the arc. Ty is quickly establishing himself as a critical piece of the Thunder rotation.
