Well after some time and effort, I managed to get #BeforeCrisisFinalFantasyVII booting. Had to reverse engineering the network protocol. While there is still a long road ahead, This is a huge win. The game had many network checks, and even files it wanted to download on boot.

The way Tenerezza handles its files is weird. But figured out the decompression, and compression that were finally needed to get images, and scripts working in the game. (still have to vwf the font.) Also, I love this game, the expression in this voice acting is unreal.

Getting White Diamond to work on Windows 11 was a fun adventure. Game was made for Windows 95. So I had to patch out some copyright checks, and fix some DLLs. Otherwise, it works. The game uses headerless BMP files for its images, and then uses a nonstandard table for text.

This one feels pretty good, to be honest. As the biggest hurdle for Innocent Tears was expanding the XBE (Xbox exe) they stored all the game files pretty much in the XBE. I was worried I was not going to be able to expand it. But I did, and was able to get the pointers :D

Madou Monogatari 2 "The One with Schezo" Glad I finally beat this one! I'd played the GG 1st game, but hadn't actually played 2 and 3, so didn't even realize who the last boss would be! My script was too big, so forcing @YuviApp to learn PC-98 assembly to make it fit, soon!

I now have enabled the Debug stuff the game had left in the code. While it did have a GUI for the debug mode left over, those were called out. However I was able to enabled the debug commands, such as unlock fps, win/lose battle, and god mode. This makes testing a lot easier!

Okay, so I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan. But I just found out Pokemon Crystal in Japan, had an online capability using your cellphone? From some quick googling, it doesn't look like there's ever been an effort to bring that feature back online. I feel that's long overdue.
