Lundin Links was bathed in glorious sunshine this afternoon and was easily the best day of the year so far. Greens were incredible- quick and true and consistent on all holes. The upgrade of the course is progressing well with phase 1 of a three phase renovation already taking
Let’s start by saying my preference is for links golf and I have played a lot of links courses. Occasionally I play one new to me and today’s was exceptional. Rye Golf Club is old school and all the better for it. Truly memorable.

Another classic links founded in 1868. It’s a mix of holes designed by Old Tom Morris and James Braid. Not long at 6400 yards but a thoroughly enjoyable
Founded in 1864, Royal North Devon is the oldest golf club in England and still sits on the same piece of land. It’s proximity to Saunton, Burnham & Berrow make a tour to the south west of England a true links experience
