Our members have saved over £10,000 on golf so far this year using our 30+ reciprocals across Scotland and other deals across the globe - and we’re just half way through!
If you’re planning a trip to Scotland (or live in Scotland) this membership literally pays for itself!
Say hello to our new fire pit area, built with stones from the old Spey Bay Hotel which burned down years ago.
Looking forward to many evenings around this circle in the future, and some great BBQs this summer!
Did you know that Spey Bay members get reciprocal access and preferred rates at over 30 courses across Scotland?
So much value packed into this membership!
The gorse is blooming, the sun is shining - it’s time for some golf at Spey Bay!
The sandy areas you see between holes are areas we cleared of gorse to work towards our future reversible course. They have been seeded and are starting to grow in nicely!
New tees being built for holes 4, 5 and 15 (and 7 and 15 in the reverse routing!)
These will create dramatic new playing angles, more variety in course setup options, and give fantastic views of the course and the landscape from one of the highest points on the property.
Last weekend we unveiled the Inaugural Member board in the clubhouse!
We cannot thank these members enough for supporting
@LinksDAO
‘s first course from the very beginning. We’re building something special
@speybaygc
with you!

Check out holes 2, 3 and 4 - now with new teeing options, more playable area around the greens, new sightlines, and cleared for approaches in the reverse routing!
The new 5th tee will also serve as the 15th tee in the reverse routing, playing as a par 3 into this green, the forward 3rd.
That’s followed by the par 4 16th in the distance, playing into the forward 2nd green.
How many clubs do you know where the Club Championship trophy was gifted by the UK Prime Minister? 🤯
Members from across the globe will compete this weekend to have their name etched on this historic cup presented to the club by former PM and Spey Bay member Ramsay MacDonald.
Take a ride from the new 5th tee down holes 5 and 6.
The sandy areas you see will be grown in to create new areas of fairway, rough, natural grasses and heather.
Spey Bay Golf Course is a true test for players of all abilities ⛳ Have you had the chance to play here?

Is there anything better than some proper links golf along the sea?
Sun shining, wind blowing, gorse blooming, ground playing firm and fast… what’s not to love!?
Is there any other place you’d rather spend an evening?
The sandy areas you see in this video are now starting to pop with color as they more fully grow in with grass. How different it will be looking next year!
A historic day at Spey Bay – 72 players teed off, turning down 4 teams, making it the first sold-out event in club history! 🙌 We raised £450 in the raffle for local kids' Christmas presents and collected 9 refuse sacks of toys 🎄
Panoramic view from the highest point on the course - the new 5th tee.
In order on the video:
12th hole
14th fairway (then 15 green in distance)
3rd green (with new 4th and 5th tees in foreground)
4th green with new approach
5th hole
This June, golfers at our Summer Solstice event will have over 18 hours of daylight to play 72+ holes, and then be the first to play a 7 hole loop on our future reversible routing!
Our new logo embodies the connection between wildlife and local traditions. An osprey perched on a whiskey barrel symbolizes Spey Bay's natural beauty and the rich heritage of its distilleries.

The event is now full and teams are set for the inaugural Spey Bay Ryder Cup!
🇺🇸 vs 🇪🇺, fourball and singles matches, 3 days of competition… what a perfect way to get our international membership together and compete!
The 8th hole takes you from the sea to an unforgettable shallow plateau green with a backdrop of Scottish countryside.
We’ve expanded the green to open up more playing options when you miss the plateau. Choose wisely because this hole can result in a crooked number easily!
A fantastic Club Championship is in the books!
Congrats to our champions Scott Burgess and D Phillips, and thanks to all our competitors coming from across the globe for a great weekend!
Today marks the 1-year anniversary of
@LinksDAO
acquiring
@SpeyBayGC
!!
What a transformational year it has been - and the next year, and many years, will only get better!
Take a ride from the new back tee on the 5th!
You’ll have to decide how aggressive you want to be taking on the burn and heather on the left hand side in order to get a shorter approach to this green
Check out the future 17th hole!
The new tee right by the sea kicks off the short par 4 that’s drivable for longer players (and in forgiving winds) but will require navigating the tricky undulations running up to the green.
In two days, attendees of our Summer Solstice event will play 72, 90, or even 100+ holes on the longest day of the year! Followed by a weekend of competition with prizes from
@TrumpTurnberry
@IMGPrestigeGolf
and more.
Get ready for a great weekend of golf!
The new 4th, 5th and 15th tees are taking shape!
The 4th hole will have a dramatic new look over the burn and an area full of colorful heather, fescue and marram. These tees will be a great meeting place for groups crossing paths at the highest point on the course.

We’re starting to see a tinge of green in the areas where we cleared gorse, sanded and seeded! Warmer weather has the grass growing in nicely.
Despite what you see here in the renovated areas, the full course is open for play and looking great!
The reverse approach to the current 5th green.
Once grown in, players will be able to choose between an aerial approach or running it over the wavy undulations on the ground.
The journey to acquiring Spey Bay was no short putt. Over 100 courses, 6,000 members, and one unanimous decision later, here we are! 🏌️♂️

9 days from now golfers will be taking on our Summer Solstice event, playing 72+ holes with the over 18 hours of sunlight the day affords.
The clubhouse will be a welcome sight after many loops around the links!
We recently played the first shots on the future reversible routing - more content is coming soon!
For now, here’s a view of the reversible route from the new tee areas (still growing in) down the 16th and into the 15th green, right along the sea.

The removal of gorse has revealed great contours on the ground that you’ll have to navigate, along with the burn now in play and some of the only trees on the course, to get a good look at this pin.
