I try to go through life making as few people angry as possible. If I ever said or did anything to offend you, please take it up with me in DMs and we can work it out there. Thank you.
I really do mean well, so please let me know if I ever slip up.
One was produced by an elite team who had money and marketed for $1.8M.
The other was an independent project by (mostly) one animator and is on YouTube for free.
Quality is surprising sometimes.
This is why right-wing media fails. At the end of the say, it is just as preachy and obnoxious about itself. It becomes the thing they dunk on left-wing media for.
The deepest cut in Once Upon a Studio.
If you recognize this, congratulations, you have been to the parks. And you realize they included TWO Robin Williams characters. At first, I thought it was a Lost Boy.
@TheDinoBuff
I always maintained it should be called "Social Wallaceism" instead.
Alfred Russel Wallace DID twist his beliefs for racism. Darwin was explicitly anti-slavery and said no human was any less evolved.
Seriously, this was one of the holy grails of the Lost Media community, as in a work that was indeed lost to time. But now that it's found, this calls for a celebration.
One of the biggest discoveries in lost media history just happened. An anonymous Reddit user has uploaded Sesame Street Ep 847 (the banned Wicked Witch of the West episode) to r/lostmedia. Documentary about the whole search is in the works 👍

It's a cautionary tale about rushing in and blind affection. The main focus of the play is more on the class struggle of Shakespeare's time, and the final punishment is on the parents, not the lovers.

"Wow, Arthur. You stayed longer than most. I'm impressed. But your time came and you went out on top. You earned your place here."

This sounds like a tweet from a a parallel universe. As if Illumination was not the animation community's punching bag for a solid decade.
@ShapedInternet
What's even more impressive is this actually happened. They had to change the coordinates because it was private property, but still...it happened. And they declared a winner. Cool!

Some say Animal Planet died with Steve Irwin. There is some truth to that, but Zaslav did nothing to save it during that time.
@ChikoritaCheez
People agree there was a falloff. There is some dispute as to WHEN, but most say it was after Season 8. Season 5 is the first downturn, but nobody defends past Sparky.
Cartoons SpongeBob has outlived:
Fairly Oddparents
Regular Show
Adventure Time
Gumball
MLP
Littlest Pet Shop
Aqua Teen
TMNT 2003 AND 2012
Steven Universe (confirmed)
All of these shows began and ended while SpongeBob was making new episodes.
A new children’s comedy show, “SpongeBob SquarePants,” premieres on Nickelodeon.
The two episodes that air today are called “Bubblestand” and “Ripped Pants.”
I disagree. The site explains outright it outlines "tricks of the trade" for writing. I see nothing wrong with cataloguing common tropes and explaining them to writers without demonizing or praising them.
@Dham0624
-Makes 4x its budget
-Wins almost every industry award on the way to the Oscars
-"Sunflower" off the soundtrack peaks at
#1
and never leaves the Top 10.
-Just today, it won the Hugo Award, the third animation to do so.
Friendly reminder RAID Shadow Legends is a front for a gambling company which uses pay to win tactics and predatory marketing and uses YouTube as a shield so the FTC doesn't kill them.

At least the latter does not require you to pay for an Internet connection and have a friend with a Switch.
Basculegion is doable and Ursaluna is easy to game if you know the tricks.

There are two justifications for this I've heard.
1) Genies are so bitter about being encased they act out of spite.
2) Chaos theory. They only have so much control so you have to be precise.
If Shrek 1 was a hit, Shrek 2 was a global phenomenon. Everyone was talking about this one. This really solidified DreamWorks as a major competitor to Disney and (for better or worse) made CGI the dominant medium.
Twenty years ago today, Shrek 2 was released. One of the best animated sequels ever made, this film took everything that worked in the first film and upped it up further with its great comedy, amazing animation, fantastic set pieces, and memorable new characters.
Thoughts and prayers to James and his and Chris' loved ones.
Chris co founded the channel and played Patrick in the SpongeBob reenactments, so his influence is arguably just as great. He and Patrick will be missed.
I have some very sad, unfortunate news to deliver.
Yesterday, James Phyrillas aka Schaffrillas, his friend Chris Schaffer, and his brother Patrick Phyrillas, were all involved in a car crash in Leigh County.
Chris and Patrick have died, and James is in critical condition.

They could have avoided so many implied plot holes and controversies if they had just said it was a reboot of the Star Command TV show. As in, the in-universe version.
