Absolutely devastated and heartbroken about the news regarding John Hunt's wife and two daughters, One of the nicest men in racing and a devout family man suddenly having his entire world taken away from him by some evil scumbag. My thoughts are with him at this sad time.

Very sad to report that my dad, John Watson, sadly departed just after 8.30am this morning in Wigan. After a mixture of heart,lung and kidney failure mixed in with a bout of pneumonia, this was sadly one last fight that he couldn't defeat.

Cam Hardie deserves some praise for how he handled National Anthem after he broke down, could have caused a pile up behind seeing as they were speeding along but did brilliantly to stay on board and stop his horse, must be like a tyre blowout on a motorway, real horsemanship
