Paul teaches that the ONE baptism is the baptism performed by the Holy Spirit (w/out human hands) in order to immerse the believer into the BoC. There is no H2O involved, there is no priest or pastor or involved. It is a supernatural event that happens at the moment of salvation.

The body of #Christ is not grafted into Israel. #Israel is “fallen” & “enemies of God” (Rom 11:11,28). In 1 Thess 2:16, Paul says, “the wrath of God is come upon them to the uttermost.” What advantage is there in being grafted into a nation that God does not acknowledge?

The water baptism in the four Gospels and in the first part of Acts was a ceremonial purification in accordance with Israel’s kingdom program (Jn 1:31, 3:25-26). Water baptism did not save in and of itself, but it was required as an expression of repentance and faith (Mk 16:16).
