K9 Raider takes the win! On May 1st SBSD Barstow Station requested Raider & Dep Higuera's assistance when a CHP pursuit suspect fled from a stolen car into the desert. Raider located the suspect & he was arrested by Barstow Deps. Great teamwork!

Deputies are investigating an incident at Victor Valley High School involving a small group of juveniles. An altercation occurred in a parking lot at the school and one male was shot in the foot. The shooter has been detained and there is no further threat at this time.

A traffic stop, for expired registration, led to Deputy Polar finding this rifle and handgun, LOADED, inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and the firearms confiscated. Great job Deputy Polar.

At 4:15 pm Deputies and Sheriff’s aviation responded to a report of a man with a gun in the 17900 block of Bear Valley. A male subject was located in the desert near the location armed with a handgun. Deputies gave multiple commands, pleading with the subject to drop his weapon

Deputy Jones and Deputy Grigsby became aware of a Victorville citizen that was in need of a car seat for her child. Deputy Jones and Deputy Grigsby purchased a car seat for the citizen, providing her with a safe way to transport her small child. Thank you Deputies!
MISSING: 14 y.o., Genevieve Brinson. She was last seen on Friday, February 25, 2022, in the 15000 block of Palmdale Road, at approx. 3:30 p.m. She suffers from seizures and other health concerns.

Deputies are investigating a shooting outside the Mall of Victor Valley. One adult male was pronounced deceased. Another adult & juvenile were shot & have been transported for medical treatment. The investigation is ongoing, no further info is available. Please avoid the area.

Deputies responded to VVHS for a possible subject with a gun. Deputies throughly searched the campus and the threat was unfounded. These calls are taken very seriously and we thank all agencies for responding to ensure the safety of our students
Some of our favorite girls, Girl Scout Troop 1345, donated this PS4 to the station. This will definitely help pass the time for some of the kids coming to the station, sometimes for an extended time. Thank you girls. We 💚 you!

On 02/25/2023, deputies responded to a call for service at a residence in the city of Hesperia. During the call for service, deputies authorized a search warrant and located a large quantity of suspected heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms and ammunition.
