Christopher Cabrera, 38, was also killed Wednesday in Kensington. He was waiting to cross the street when a driver who police believe was under the influence of drugs drove onto the sidewalk and struck him at a high rate of speed. He died at the scene.

I went the opening night of Cheu on 10th St in 2013 and my husband and I ate countless meals there. He wanted to propose to me there, but I didn’t catch the hint and wouldn’t leave the house. Bing Bing and Cheu Fishtown closing is sad. End of an era.

2.5-year-old brought home Covid. We were so diligent for the last 2+ years, but daycares are germ vectors and it was a big risk we had no choice in taking. We all had mild cases thankfully. Mask up. Get your booster. Be a decent human being and think of others outside yourself.
