It’s official. The National Indian Gaming Association’s conference broke the previous attendance record. I’ll have official count on Monday but it was something like 7000 attendees. Definitely feeling good about the show.

Today is my son’s 7th birthday. He’s growing up into a fine young man. He came into my life at nine weeks as a foster child. I adopted him when he was two. He’s changed my life in the most profound & beautiful way. Can’t imagine life without him now.

I first met David Lindley in the late-80s when moved to Claremont CA in ‘85. He was already this legendary musician. I wasn’t prepared for how kind and funny he was. I got to work in the studio with him a couple of times. OMG could he play. RIP, David.

My wife and son were in a car accident today. They were coming to visit me at the show when a car suddenly braked on the freeway. She skidded to a stop but was struck from behind and pushed into the car in front. Lost two bumpers & a back quarter panel but my family is safe.
