@RealJacobPerry I'm pretty sure I've got tweets from early 2020 noting that there is absolutely no scientific, objective basis behind any of these insane things we did, and that we succumbed to hysteria. And if even *I* figured that out, others did too. This was easily understandable in 2020.

Reminder: In 2016, Trump ran and won on the issues, and NOT just on his personality. He built coalitions among respected conservative and Republican operatives, and had the same policy presentation wherever he went. Today, Trump doesn't talk about the issues at all. Just 2020.

One of the dumbest sentences I have ever read came from Justice Sotomayor in her JARKESY dissent in invoking George Washington's Farewell Address. And Gorsuch in his concurrence uses his space to bash the dissent like a blacksmith on an anvil. Just a great review of precedent.

@RealJacobPerry I just think you're misstating. I agree that the emphasis on Fauci alone is misplaced. Often what happens in things like this is that the people who all went along with it get let off the hook because of an easy scapegoat. But plenty of good science opposed Fauci in 2020.
