Cat 4 Milton continues to move NE across the Gulf late this morning. The Storm Surge Warning has been expanded to include the Northern Brevard Barrier Islands. All other watches and warnings remain in effect with no change.

Cat 4 Milton continues to move NE towards the FL Peninsula this morning. Hurricane Warnings have been expanded to include Volusia, Brevard & Indian River Co, with a Storm Surge Warning also in effect for Volusia.

5PM Oct 7 | Major Hurricane Milton is forecast to make landfall along the FL west coast Wednesday. Hurricane conditions, especially in the form of frequent wind gusts, will be possible across much of east central Florida. Preparations should be complete by Tuesday night. (1/3)
