A few months ago i had a heart attack and whilst in hospital I developed sepsis and caught covid, it meant I was in hospital for over 5 weeks. it’s been a long old trek to recovery but today i managed a very leisurely 2.7 mile walk through the Sandringham estate park. onwards

When my son was four I was given 9 to months due to cancer. A horrible prognosis, for the Dad of a toddler it’s awful. Thanks to my determination and the wonders of Dr Nick Wadd and professor Val Lewington and their teams I’m still here and my son is 20 next month.

Watched #InsideNo9 with my 17 yr old son. Very difficult watch for me when Aiden came on. When I was given 9 months to live I bought a camera to record messages for my then 3 year old son. If it wasn't for @ReeceShearsmith brilliant acting, might not have cried but I did. Amazing

My mam would have been 80 years old today, but she died in April this year. She was a wonderful mother, wife, friend, gran, great-gran. I miss her dearly every day. I wake up thinking about her and go to sleep wishing her happy goodnight. Happy birthday Mam, night night.
