Pride-getting your bin out early
Greed-keeping misplaced bins
Lust-doing it over a wheelie bin
Envy-your neighbour’s new bin
Gluttony-your bin over Christmas
Wrath-missing the bin day
Sloth-sod it they will come next week

It’s more the fact that rich people are inherently worried about what poor people spend their money on. They assume people in poverty are a subclass do not have intelligence or ability and poverty is entirely of their own making.

Ooh I have another, the liver is the best organ of the body. People say the heart, but one little blockage and it gets all ischemic and stroppy. The brain is marvellous but a whack on the head and it sulks. The liver just keeps going and going, putting your needs first.
Happy Ed Balls day to all those who celebrate. I hope this level of silliness never disappears, and 20 years from now we will all still be celebrating
#edballsday
without knowing why.
@RoboticoEl
Once I was painting my bedroom ceiling, while listening to music. As I moved my earphones fell out, they are white, the paint was white, they had fallen in the tray and put them back in my ears. It took a while to get all paint traces out of my ears.
I have a BSc and MSc… 🤦♀️
I was decapitated by a guillotine but used some Sudocrem and my head grew back within days. Please buy Sudocrem if you are in a similar situation, I am a doctor and this is an official recommendation approved by Sudocrem Inc.

That’s the ‘dessert’ stomach, an accessory organ to the stomach. It activated when the main stomach is full, but your brain knows there is dessert in the kitchen.

@galahadlake
Ugh I just vomited for you! What do they think your reply will be? “Oh hang on, let me remove my mask so you can kiss me your your coffee and cigarette stinking breath” 🤢
And so it starts, the time of year I start introducing my new students to
@chubbyemu
, starting with one of my favourites, the soy sauce colon cleanse.
‘it is wrong to call what happened an “unthinkable tragedy” when a woman is murdered by a man every three days in England and Wales. Women being murdered by men is not unthinkable, it is desperately, horribly, normal’

I am so done with this mask thing now 🙄and I’m not even an expert.
To mask,or not to mask, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the nose to suffer
The coughs and sneezes of gross people,
Or to take masks against a spray of droplets.
@K_G_Andersen
The strategies that had been discussed for years, based on years of experience from epidemics and pandemics, and plans formulated. We have been ready with plans for a pandemic for years, but they have been ignored and still being ignored 😒.
#COVID19
is an enveloped virus, where the RNA is packaged within an outer fatty or lipid membrane and are mostly spherical. The fatty membrane of SARS-CoV-2 contains virus proteins and acts like a bag that holds and protects the RNA.
Share the facts:
It worries me when professional scientists and medical folk follow me, I am concerned they will anticipate professional content and behaviour from me. I am a scientist, I do have an MSc & PGCE, but there the resemblance to professionalism ends. You may experience some disbelief.
@stefinitely85
@DrJenGunter
I live with chronic pain, I have a vagina, and I am a scientist. Dismissing ‘alternative’ treatments with medical fact is not anti-feminist, and it is ridiculous to suggest otherwise. It’s not my choice to not fit into my ‘narrative’, it is my choice not to fit yours.
@bendymarsh
It was the stress of work, or not working enough, being too fat, too thin, eating junk, eating too healthily, not practicing mindfulness, being too ‘woke’, not vaccinating, too many vaccinations, past trauma, and no resilience after cushy childhood.
Definitely our fault 🙄.
@fitterhappierAJ
> Don't annoy me with people in denial about T cell death signatures
This really needs to be on a T shirt. Aside from which, why do you think people are in denial about it? I mean other professionals, it can’t just be the usual disagreements we get between researchers?
@davemacladd
Depends on what part of the country, down in London they only accept M&S or Waitrose pies. And nothing common, it has to be the finest artichoke and octopus arsehole pie.
After seeing the re-emergence of crackpot SARS-CoV-2 cures, I think it sensible to share this

video from March.

367 families grieving, 367 families that won’t have their loved one there at Christmas. But apparently that is less important than being able to go to the pub without a mask.

Yep I noticed that bit, science is science, the only thing that changes it is more science, not a self-publicising ego wank on stage.
@drkeithsiau
It’s a private hospital, maybe they are including the recovery time that most patients would have at home.
That said, she will also be off work for a few months. If I had to guess I would say a hysterectomy.
Excellent video! No spoilers, but this was one of my favourite topics to teach, especially the final treatment ☺️☺️

A shared spreadsheet tracker for everything, even if we are all doing it anyway. And then they get forgotten and a new one is created, even if we are all using the old one. I am waiting for a tracker to list all the trackers.
Hello my name is Heather I am 46 and I have a masters in science. Today I forgot the words experimental protocol and called it a ‘science recipe’ 🤦♀️.
I bumped into one of my previous students in tesco, we had a good chat and she went off to do her shopping. 10 mins later she appeared with these ☺️❤️❤️.
If you have insomnia, I recommend listening to birdsong on YouTube. However, I do not recommend doing it when there is a cat in the room, my stupid animal thinks it is coming from under the bed 🙄.
@k8_lister
I wonder if they had compulsory ‘well being’ sessions they had to attend? Where they talk about the difficulties of work like balance with the very people piling the workload on
Merry Xmas to my Twitter folk, you have been kind, funny, and tolerant of my lunacy on here, and I want you to know it is very much appreciated ❤️.
And a special merry Xmas to anyone here going through the motions and putting on a front for today, I feel you xx 🤗
@MedCrisis
Why can’t doctors tell us it’s a slight decrease in flow to the heart rather than doom laden stories of heart attacks? My uncle’s hairdresser’s daughter’s cousin went to med school in 1976 and said heart attacks were not an issue then, it’s snowflakes requiring adequate perfusion
@NTDs_Maja
Meanwhile cancer affects 17 million people each year, research is comparatively well funded and the range of treatments increases each year. 1.5 billion people whose lives are affected by stigma and disability, for the sake of a bed net or eye ointment 😞.

Every woman should be able to isolate mature mRNA, column purify it, reverse transcriptase into DNA, clone into plasmid and transform into E.coli. It’s part of being an incredible nurturer and caregiver.

The crucially important pathogens won’t die either.
Faecal transplants are screened for pathogens before being given to already immune-compromised folk.
Also 🤢.
